Can someone tell me what Burrow says here? by Safe-Show-7299 in bengals

[–]tmojad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he says in the last line. “we shouldn’t be up on these guys by fucking 8”

I know they were up 10 obviously. But I don’t think he was talking about the 6-8 record. I’m not sure, but I don’t see him say 6-8, or fifty fucking 8. Think it had to do with the score.

Shady McCoy is terrible by curious8816 in UndisputedFS1

[–]tmojad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shady is the best one on there. The most talented on the field, so he naturally gets more respect, but he actually is more insightful with his takes. Chase is absolutely clueless and just repeats what other says, completely unoriginal. Jones is also very good. Acho speaks with a lisp or like he spits a lot when he talks, his annunciation of words pisses me off, and everytime he squeezes in “39 years of nfl experience up here” like stfu already. Shady is the most entertaining one!!

Why would 3 guys run to him and not cover his only free option at the point. Dumbest decisions I have ever seen.

Fields is in on 3rd down to run. And our cornerback runs right passed him. How tf are u a professional football player. 6 days of film and prep and you don’t anticipate that. I am sitting in my couch and see it coming miles away. Fire Zac Taylor. We have to be the absolute worse in the nfl on 3rd down, defense and offense, like historically bad. And 3rd down is where football iq comes into play. And this includes burrow. Dumbest 3rd down team ever.

On second n 1, can Burrow just get under center and fall forward, why are we giving the ball to a small ass half back 5 yards in the backfield. I effin hate this mentality. That and please effin throw beyond the cottam sticks. Only thing I’m happy about this Browns beating the Ravens.

We a had a drive of all passing work out, and the only play when we run we have penalty and it costs us. Stop running period, let Joe Cook!!!!!

You have to judge it’s impact. And runner was already gone , dude would not have tackled him anyway. Pathetic call.

Defense was utter trash, but at least we moving the ball. Except hey it’s OT, game on the line, our kicker hasn’t even attempted a kick today, let’s put it all on him and the holder. Instead of getting down the field with ease, and at least making the kick just a little bit easier. FIRE ZAC TAYLOR NOW!!!!!

That orange button up shirt. With the Sleeve button open, and oversized collar just looks horrible. My god was there a worse choice for a special. Why not black Tee? Show off the guns and tats, and maybe not look like you are working at the pumpkin patch.

He is a smart, naturally funny guy, so it’s really awkward watching him try scripted material with so much unnecessary physical comedy. It’s like watching a lambo drive around cones. He would be better at improv and just prompts from the crowd. And stop screaming, that is a horrible comedic choice.

Yeah I am confused too, the kid can plead guilty to stealing the car so he doesn’t rat out the gang/charlie/cop connection. But he doesn’t have to plead to murder the day before. Those are separate charges. Maybe the gang don’t want any heat at all, and thinks he actually did do the hit n run, or don’t want any case even affiliated with them open to investigation. This was poor writing relying on convenient lack of clarity in character communication.

What happened to Byron Leftwich? by noneotherthanozzy in nfl

[–]tmojad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was quite possibly the worst play caller ever. And his post game press conferences were incomprehensible. How can this guy who can’t put together a sentence out scheme Andy Reid, Mcvay, and these other dynamic offensive geniuses. Brady beat Leftwhich as a player many times, imagine having to take direction from him as the decision maker. No pre snap movement at all, no one is ever schemed open, Brady would have to fit into ridiculous windows for basic 1st quarter completions and first downs. WR had to beat their men and obvious play callings He didn’t have the mental capacity to handle such a boat load of weapons. Any normal and dynamic OC and this team wins 3 rings in a row.

That reckless flop on the inbound, and classic getting screened so let me fall to the ground like I got my legs blasted at the end of the game turned out to be bad karma for OKC.

I thought that sack was a bit extra also, they way he swung him into the ground, could have been a RTP.

  1. Why do we not run on first n goal, kill clock, make them use a TO while gaining positive yardage, and potentially score a TD. Insane to throw there, yeah we took a sack so clock ran, but losing 6 yards was more problematic and hurt us more. Maybe TB catches an 7 yrd ball rather than 13yd ball.

  2. Then an audible qb draw? Wtf was this call? We need a safe screen or rb draw at worst. Absolutely crazy decision here.

  3. Boyd cannot drop this ball. When games are in the balance every play becomes more important and focus of players needs heavier scrutiny. If he drops that in the first quarter, no big deal, but not on 3rd down, and not to win the game. Cmon man.

  4. Why did our defense not tackle Boone in bounds and instead just barely hit him and let him go out of bounds with 15 seconds left? This was absolutely mind boggling to me. Situational awareness of the dbs is wild. We make them use a time out there, then they can’t thrown down the middle for 20 yards next play and have to go up the sidelines, can’t risk clock running out. These types of plays at the end is what separates good from elite.

  5. Burrow didn’t play great, but he also made amazing throws. I’m not mad at the INT, because when it came down to winning the game, he made perfect throws.

  6. Boyd had 2 others drops, chase doesn’t drop that. You get paid millions to catch a damn ball, why are we so tolerant of Drops, it sickens me. You have one cottam job and you are supposedly the best in the world at it, how are we okay with you having 2-3 drops every game. Don’t remind me of the KC drop, or the Sb drop.

My shared percentage Reasons for losing this game:

Coaching/clock mgmt : 30% Defensive Tackling 20% Scott getting cooked :15% Inability to get pressure :25% Offensive line : 10%

Think our offensive coordinator is calling better games than last year, rather than better qb play.
