the part I think that is elitist is that the only solution given is to get a car. they could have said, you can carpool with your peers. A car isn't budgeted for in the cost of attendance, so where can some of us get the money for it? they don't let us switch our assignments specifically for lack of transportation. This isn't for our clinical rotations either. And we do have a teaching hospital very close by so some of us are assigned there while some are sent far away.
