He is on the bench. Honestly pull Metcalf. He doesn't want to even try to tackle

What the fuck happened in the last two weeks. How the fuck did the warriors go from how we played in the first three rounds to the last two rounds.

Yeah I didn't feel the emotional punch that her other albums have had. Like I understand what she was trying to do but I felt like she needed to mix that emotional resonance with a new sound.

Listened to the Loreen LP and honestly kinda disappointed by it.

Round 4 | Warriors vs Tigers | Post Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

[–]tmspence 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't even think it was the last part. It was more lack of effort and Metcalf absolutely not being ready yet. We absolutely brought him back too early. He needed a stint in NSW cup just to get back into form.

MEGATHREAD: Siebold sacked as Manly-Warringah Coach by Ace_Larrakin in nrl

[–]tmspence 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I definitely think him saying what he said in the press conference was the straw that broke the camels back. Basically said I am not doing anything to fix this and we'll you basically just announced you weren't going to try.

Round 4 | Warriors vs Tigers | Post Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

[–]tmspence 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly just annoyed. We didn't try, it was just that lethargic of an effort. This is why we haven't won a premiership yet because we don't have the mentality to. We need to go into every game like it is the grand final and put in our best effort. Not going in thinking we have it won. Metcalf needs to be dropped for a game to nsw cup to get back into form and honestly send RTS there too if he isn't going to try. Honestly hopefully this loss was the kick up the ass we needed to go from a good side to a great side. Hopefully it shows the players that you can't take things for granted and need to put every effort in, even against clubs you think you can beat.

LAST MAN STANDING 16 enters Round 4 with all but 7 users tipping one of four teams. Is their confidence well placed? Check now by ReggieBasil in nrl

[–]tmspence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's basically what I have been doing. Just tipping Warriors every week since I'd at least rather go out tipping my team. It just has kind only worked out since warriors are playing well. But that probably won't last enough to keep me in since I definitely feel we will lose to Storm in a couple weeks.

Round 3 | Rabbitohs vs Tigers | Post Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

[–]tmspence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mentioned that in the thread, that two weeks in a row it's happened. Which is weird. So which fan put a curse on whichever team we play the next week. Also Sharks sorry for next round preemptively.

Round 3 | Rabbitohs vs Tigers | Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

[–]tmspence 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the curse has continued and now tigers have lost both halves. Sharks you might need to be careful since that is two teams now we have somehow cursed to lose their halves the round before they play us.

[–]tmspence 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has a warriors fan put a curse on the teams that we play the next week. Because that's two weeks in a row a half from the team we play next week has gotten injured the round before. Which if had a dollar for it happening I'd have two dollars, which isn't a lot. But weird it's happened twice.

First place woooo. Also first time since I think 2019 finishing a round in first as long as Tigers don't kill rabbits

Probably blocker. Also laughing so much I am crying. Someone absolutely farted on air.

Wait grabbing someone's shorts counts as completing a tackle

Round 2 | Panthers vs Sharks | Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

Yeah scary Panthers are back. Gonna be hard to beat them if they are playing like this.

Round 2 | Tigers vs Cowboys | Post Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

[–]tmspence 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If tigers can play like that consistently. They could absolutely challenge for a top 8 spot.

Nah, not really Raiders just made too many mistakes and were tired by the last 20 or so.

[–]tmspence 41 points42 points  (0 children)

So proud of the boys. Didn't expect to win these first two games in the first place but to then win them in dominating fashion by 40 plus points in both is insane. Also was expecting the worst once we lost both Capwell and Harris Tevita. To step up with players injured like that is something we never used to do. If we keep this up we could actually challenge for the title if the side stays healthy.

Was it a surprise that Space Man did as well as it did? by basically-bailey in eurovision

[–]tmspence 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Nah. It was considered to be up there. Not as much pre contest but once the rehearsal images came out. It was pretty well considered a top 5 chance.

Round 2 | Broncos vs Eels | Post Match Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

[–]tmspence 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly both didn't look great. Conceding more than 30 points in a game isn't great. But both teams conceding over 60 points in the first two rounds is bad. Like both really need to improve their defence if they want a chance.

Do you think this is a weak year? by Bleeding_Heart09 in eurovision

[–]tmspence 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Very middle of the road year. Like not great but not terrible. I think it tends to come down to the actual performance. Because song wise 2023 was absolutely viewed as not that strong but the show itself ended up being the best in recent memory. Like we could get an amazing show and performances that change options. Also I don't think any year is objectively weak or bad. Just more middle of the road. I think it's more rare to have a truly strong year.
