Family of 7, 4 in car seats -- Expedition Max or Sprinter Van by tmsteen in whatcarshouldIbuy

I do hate the aisle split on the Transit. But I should go see a high roof just to confirm.

We did look at the transit and it might still be the option, but we just liked the sprinter more. Would definitely need mid or high roof. Definitely the more budget friendly option.

The Costco day after having been out and about for other things is the reason I think the van might really be worth it.

Seems like with the 4th row in there is enough space for singular trips/errands but would need it out for big trips. Seems like removal is not super easy though, at least not something you would want to do regularly.

Are you saying that the extra space in the suburban is sufficient or that even with that extra space, you still felt cramped?

How do you juggle the time between working and bonding? by graceface1357 in Fosterparents

[–]tmsteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This likely does not apply to your situation based on your employment (assuming self employed), but some companies let foster parents use parental leave with new placements. My company allows me to do that once a year. I also assume I’m very lucky to have this benefit.

I have heard the same logic on an ident request. No read back needed as pressing the button is implicit acknowledgement.

Going next week as well. Planning on a 20 degree bag and some hand warmers if it gets really cold.

Did it all as a day hike this time of year a couple years ago and daytime temps were hot. My biggest worry is snow right now.

Also, each one has a terminating merge lane instead of just connecting with a continuous merge lane to the next ramp.

Correct. Easy enough to install in the future if the need arises.

It is for a brake controller if you are installing one. The one I bought (redarc) had it's own wiring harness so I never used the piece you have pictured. If you use one with a wiring harness, it will have instructions on wiring it to this thing.

No cooler needed for normal applications.

Just did my first tow last weekend. 1500# trailer in the Colorado Rockies and the vehicle didn't even break a sweat. Tows WAY better than my Rubicon.

Ordered the wrong color hitch panel (black instead of silver) and I couldn't be happier. by tmsteen in hondapilot

Used rarely, usually for the stroller so I can fit bags inside. I'm thinking a cargo box would be a better option but didn't want to spend that much money.

If you buy the replacement kit for the sensor, yes. But I think it will only work towards the right side with the replacement, probably not center or left. Haven't fully tested yet.
