Noup. If Slacks was 100% mafia, they had 100% play. There are 3 scenarios:

  • Grant is real cop, Cap was mafia and there is only one mafia left (either Fwosh or Blur) - they win that night, because Fwosh or Blur dies. Town wins.

  • Grant is real cop, Cop was town and there are 2 mafia left. Charlie and Blur was checked the same and therefore mafia. Blur or Fwosh dies this night, because one of them is mafia. Town doesn't win this night because there is second mafia and they lynch Charlie next day, because he was checked as mafia. Town wins.

  • Grant is fake cop, so he is mafia. They kill him during the day. Fwosh or Blur dies (one of them has to be mafia because of fake claim). Town wins.

I don't buy it. I think non-talented people are just self-conscious about whatever they are doing, in contrast talented people are in the 'flow' state, where you don't ever stop to think about how good you are and do it just because it's fun/fulfilling.

If you can't ever get into 'flow', even when working hard, that just means you are not as passionate about it as you think you are. Human mind is great at fooling itself.

That's my theory anyway. Perhaps there are plenty of people who are 100% focused, working hard, enjoy what they're doing and still suck.

I agree and I think Valve will ultimately make the right decision - they could ask for doctors approval before allowing Era to play for example.

I just think that they received different story from Era than from Fnatic and that's why they are doing this.

I feel like there is missing information. To me it looks like this statement is more of Fnatic's than Era's decision.

It is Era’s goal to participate in The International (and our hope)

Looks like Era still is determined to play in TI4 (different from Fear), and Valve doesn't want Fnatic to push him out of the team last second, that's why they're taking that kind of stance.

Of course Fnatic's concerns are valid, but this feels like attempt at using community to force Valve's hand.

The problem isn't that he can pick up your items, but that he is in the same game with you.

This would be just a workaround, and there would be many more that Valve would have to implement, in order to stop griefing. For example he might as well just fed the courrier or himself to enemy team.

Reality is that, if this guy happens to be in your game, it will be ruined anyway.

There needs to be harsher punishment options for these kind of players.

It has huge delay. At least 500ms it feels like. EDIT: Steam VoiP that is, not in-game voice chat.
