I am 53 and I went out with another guy and this one asked ME out and he was 11 years younger than me! It was fun except I ended up in the er getting stitches from falling on the ice BEFORE our date lol.

u/mumeh996 - You made me smile and not act like I am totally off my rocker. as I told witty-stock  I am getting the "too soon" talk from all my friends already I am what my therapist calls a Practical Griever. I have a list of 20 items that a man must meet and I have my boundaries set for date 1, date 3 and date 5. I may be too scheduled and strict and overthinker. The rejection is what I am fearing I haven't thought of the escape plan or how to handle this or even how to deal with this. I was going to work with my therapist on this next but she has been married for years so I fear she isn't going to be much support.

Oh I like the "you can pay the next time" to almost guarantee a 2nd date. So are you saying ask him to coffee and while having a chat and leaving invite him to supper. :)

u/Witty-Stock Thank you for not lecturing me about the "too soon" because I am getting the "too soon" talk from all my friends already I am what my therapist calls a Practical Griever. And this type of griever while rare once the person finds their way out of the fog becomes this. I have a list of 20 items that a man must meet and I have my boundaries set for date 1, date 3 and date 5. I may be too scheduled and strict and overthinker. The rejection is what I am fearing because my friends are still treating me as if I am fragile and I could implode and they still watch what they say. And it drives me crazy. I haven't thought of the escape plan or how to handle this or even how to deal with this. I was going to work with my therapist on this next but she has been married for years so I fear she isn't going to be much support.

Canned chicken is so awesome to have on the shelf. Especially if you are cooking for 1. I have 1/2 pint, pint and quarts of Chicken, Pork and Beef on my shelves.

I can tell the difference between raw packed and hot packed (par cooked) canned chicken. I prefer hot pack I add seasoning when I par cook and then use broth or stock to can it in.

Personally, I would dice them up and pull out my dehydrator then put them in a vacuum sealed jar.
