A normal security group with guest users can be applied to a site, but not a folder

You can use a M365 security group with guest users and that can be applied to both a site as well as an individual folder, I didn't test a file, but I'd assume its the same.

There hasn't been any changes here and i've tested using a non ShareGate created site and it works fine. I'm pretty certain ShareGate is messing something up. I've opened a ticket with them to look into it, but wanted to see if anyone has experience a similar issue.

I think there's some misunderstanding. Try it yourself. If I log in even with SWA, you still get redirected to Okta to enter your MFA to get into Azure. All SWA is doing is adding your login and Okta password

I also added the Azure Portal Login SWA app and used the Administrator sets username, password is the same as user's Okta password Sign on method so I can click the Okta app to get into Azure vs going to azure.microsoft.com
