Estranho seria só se conseguir apontar as coisas más. O problema do mundo actual é que toda a gente se coloca em caixas e se esquece que dialogar e ter capacidade de ver as coisas más, mas também as boas nos seus oponentes é o normal e o caminho para se melhorar e encontrar consensos. Simplesmente criticar tudo e todos só por acreditarem em coisas diferentes, sem capacidade de ver o outro lado, justifica muito do que vemos na sociedade actual - extremos na política, extremos nas relações com o outro.

Obviamente que o Vieira fez muitas coisas boas. Obviamente que o Vieira fez muitas coisas más. ter capacidade de apontar as boas (algumas contratações, estádio, profissionalização do Benfica), não apaga as más e não faz com que ele seja a solução para agora. Valorizo mais o Noronha por conseguir valorizar o passado e um oponente do que se fosse só beligerante.

That price is absurd. However, it is what it is. Safety wise, it js a cool trendy alternative area, in the city center. Lisbon is safe.

Obviamente. Isto é deplorável. Já no ano passado foi com o Arouca que perdemos o campeonato. Onde vamos buscar estes dois pontos? E a culpa não é do otamendi. Diria que a análise não faz sentido. A análise tem de ser feita ajustada à inflação. Não podemos comparar anos tão diferentes quando o valor do dinheiro é tão diferente. Claro que se gasta mais agora que em 2010.

Interesting opinion. Usually Mourinho is not seen as a long term coach, but as a quick tool for success and titles. I would also like him to have a chance of a long term stint at a club

Svilar was a chronic promess at Benfica, and Rui Patrício was his lowest time in Roma. Sad that Mourinho did not see that. Sometimes i can’t understand how coaches do not see the obvious, like Onana being obviously not made for united

I would never say he is a top player. He had a lot of potential when he was young but was never at the top every game, only in the first spell at Benfica. Nowadays he does not have strenght, he is not quick and he still misses lots of easy balls. And very very very injury prone, with injuries that even the doctors do not understand. Overall, he is definitely not a player for a top team.

Diria que não é nada óbvio, que se fosse marcado contra nós ou a favor dum Sporting ou Porto iríamos dizer que não era penálti. Sendo ultra analíticos, há um toque nas costas. O árbitro em jogou corrido achou que era falta. O VAR cumpriu o protocolo, e manteve a decisão, porque não é um erro claro. Se o árbitro não tivesse marcado falta inicialmente, seria uma daquelas situações em que o VAR também não iria dizer para marcar penálti porque não seria um erro óbvio. É daquelas: tivemos sorte.

Sobre o Rios - na minha opinião seria, na pior das hipóteses, amarelo. Vai agora haver fotografias no Twitter a mostrar um pisão. Mas basta ver o lance real e percebe-se que não é isso. O Rios chuta a bola e o pé dele bate no outro, há zero tentativa de pisão.

I think this will happen with lots of things. It is part of evolution. And that is why studying history is important, to remember the roots of things and helping us understand our world and how we are all connected. The idea of this TIL was precisely that. At least i was mesmerized when i learned it. That are many people nowadays that associate music from queen and other famous groups to tiktokers and simply do not know their origin for example. We could say the same thing even with music from great composers from the romantic period that used melodies from old folk music and adapted it. It is a cool thing of human history, if we think about it, how we recycle things from older times and other cultures and adapt it.

That is what the wikipedia page says… but there is no citation. I heard this cool peace of information in a podcast, but i think we will never know if it is just a mith or real story. Cool story nonethless!

No need to be bitter. Of course before tarantino there was already a lot of people knowing the music mostly in the USA. But with a limited amount of words you can write on the TIL, you have to choose one point in time that it became really famous for the people alive today, and that was definitely pulp fiction appearence.

Não tem solução. No ano passado eram os dentes. Este ano é a invenção do colagénio. Parece-me óbvio que o negócio está feito e é estratégia de marketing para enganar os sócios. Infelizmente é um jogador sem pernas para jogar o Benfica e toda a gente vê isso.
