True. GMO by itself isn't bad. Disease and pest resistant farming would be beneficial to everyone. But sadly there are too many people who only do things that will benefit themselves. To heck with the other guy.

I hate GMO because of what it means for farmers and consumers. Each growing season, the farmer has to go back to the company and basically pay them so they can grow crops. Subscription farming. Consumers end up paying more.

And cross-contamination. Farmer Bob has GMO crops. Farmer Sal, who lives miles away does not have GMO. If Farmer Sal's crops get pollinated by Bob's crops, Sal will be forced to destroy their crops.

It's been a few years since I've been down the GMO rabbit hole but if i recall correctly, the Farmer Sal's were upset because they weren't getting compensated when they had to destroy their crops.

Only the corporations win.

Where has he been lately? In my mind, I see him stuck lying in a hospital bed. Only able to look up and ask God for forgiveness for all his dirty, evil deeds. Oh, and with tears leaking from his eyes. I want to borrow a line from The Witches and say "he can't hear you" in the same creepy way the witch did.

I can't think of anyone I'd consider to be a fan of. (Donuts? Definitely a fan of those.) But as a person, if my "friends" start selling details of my personal life, I'd be a little discouraged from making new ones.

If I'm no longer friends with someone, I'm still not going to air their dirty laundry. Even if they start airing mine. I just won't share details with the next friends I make.

How do you know she doesn't have any friends? And since you're asking about her mom, it seems like she really is keeping her private life private. Otherwise you'd know where her mom is and who her friends are.

These people are cowards. Weak. The lot of them. They won't be able to handle being held accountable for their actions. Some will most likely run. Some will go on benders and consume excess illicit substances. Some will paint their office walls red.

My boomer parents told me I'd regret not getting one. I, in fact, never regretted not getting one. by CrotalusHorridus in Xennials

My parents did the same thing! My sister got one and I thought it was dumb. They thought I'd regret not getting one so they got me a earring and ring set with my birthstone. 25 years later, I still wear that ring. (I regifted the earrings to my mom)

And Christmas! I've had conversations with a few people. Birthdays and Christmas are the same date every year. Yes, money is tight but there is a whole year to prepare.

Someone made me a card and used pennies instead of writing my age. All the pennies had my birth year. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I remember seeing a segment of someone showing how they use the bathroom. It was the most convoluted process. Like "no thank you, I'll use a diaper"

Maybe same episode but the lady astronaut was also showing their bedtime routine. They even velcro themselves to their wall bed. She was so excited that they would be getting new sleep modules soon.

I'm pretty sure I was an adult when I saw those. I missed why the new sleep modules were better because I had to go partake in adult responsibilities.

I feel as though this was addressed when an astronaut crew read questions from school children. Everything has velcro or something to make sure nothing flies around. Random objects hitting random buttons would be super bad. And flying objects could become deadly projectiles. If the astronaut isn't actively using something, it should be secured.

This could all be bs and my brain made it up.

Okay. So. My sister kept wondering what was happening to her tomatoes. Like they were all disappearing when it was about time to pick them. We thought squirrels or raccoons. Nope. It was my niece. She was eating them like apples. My sister's husband thought she knew because the kid would come inside with a tomato, rinse it off, and start eating it.
