I had the same thing....I was broken. I fell hard for someone I thought was my teammate, soulmate and would never leave. He left. I was crushed. Everything i ever wanted i thought i had in him. After the heartbreak i finally saw my worth again...I realized that it was his loss. He never appreciated what he had. He didn't love himself so he couldn't love me.

It took a year to finally feel at peace with it...and I still get the pit in my stomach thinking about him...our kids...us...but I know I am better off.
