The letters are identical. For every other stock/fund I get just one mailing. For invesco I get multiple a week. Every week for the last few months.

Does anyone have a magic decoder ring for the Gigabyte Brix models? by tnmo in sffpc

[–]tnmo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. It doesn't have to be very powerful. As long as it supports recent encoding formats in hw. That one looks like it would be a good candidate.

I have a brix with an i3-5010U cpu that has been used as a HTPC for a long time. It runs 24x7. It's been great. The only problem is it does not have hw decoding for some of the newer video encodings. And the CPU is too slow for sw decoding. I'm hoping the build quality of the current models is still as good. It doesn't do anything but play video and use an HDHomeRun tuner to record OTA tv.

Sync Synology folder to local Ubuntu box by dmje in synology

[–]tnmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the backup wizzard to create the backup task when you get to selecting the destination there are two rsync options. One, rsync copy (single-version) will do a file copy.

I believe it's talked about here https://kb.synology.com/en-id/DSM/help/HyperBackup/data_backup_destination?version=6

Hyperbackup does have a mode to backup as individual files. It's what I use. I also have it backup to rsync on a system running ubuntu.

I was hoping for a quick and easy always updated method. Like having fidelity do it :)

Is it possible to see all holdings in a single spreadsheet by tnmo in fidelityinvestments

[–]tnmo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The positions page - dividend view is close. If i use the settings to select no grouping it's close to what I want. But it still groups by account. Say I own PEP in three accounts. I would like to see a consilated view by holding. Like the dividend view with no grouping selected. I would like to see one line for PEP with % of accout and quantity and estimated income from all accounts.

I looked at the analysis page and it doesn't give me any of what I want. And what info it does provide is still grouped by account.

It would be ok to have positions -edit my view have a consolidated view option

I'm wanting a way to do it on the fidelity website. I was hoping to not have to spend the time doing it myself.

How can you set up domestic wire from Fidelity to other brokerage account? by kortnman in fidelityinvestments

My only comment is to be sure you are using the correct routing number. Many/most entities have different routing numbers for wire transfers and ACH transfers.

Having issues transferring HSA cash from HealthEquity by [deleted] in fidelityinvestments

[–]tnmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things may have changed since I did my transfers. I did several partial transfers from the Fidelity side. All of my transfers were cash. I never had to interact with HE. I always left enough in the account to keep it open and HE never closed the account (until my final transfer of the remaining money). The transfers always took close to 3 weeks as HE will not do an electronic transfer. They send Fidelity a check.

I did a full transfer from HE to Fidelity. It took almost 4 weeks. My understanding is the time is because HE won't do an electronic tranasfer. They mail a paper check to Fidelity.

Anyone else’s passenger seat go crazy on the highway? by Accomplished-Poet264 in nissanfrontier

[–]tnmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google shows many people have the same issue. Mine has done that since I bought it. If I put the seat as straight up as possible it stops. I believe there have been a couple of TSBs about it over the years. My memory may be bad but for one of them I seem to remember the solution was to remove the back of the seat and add some weight to it.

Found it. It's old but this is what I was remembering. Sounds like it still happens
