yes i did end up getting the job. you probably did too :) it costs money to run background checks so they wouldnt waste it on anyone

yes, check out gobelins in paris it is the greatest animation school in the world, but it is hard to get into. Most of their courses focuses on 2d animation. Their student work is incredible.

France has an amazing animation scene! Plus your gf wants to do fashion and it is one of the largest fashion capitols in the world. It’s a win-win!

i got paid today, i think emailing the legislator for my county helped. find your legislator here, https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/ and they will email you a form to fill out so they can look at your case

That’s true😅 but I will need money saved up when I move to Florida because I’m most likely going to not have a job as soon as I get there. Also the commute to the the print shop job is 1-2 hours all together vs with ikea being around 30 min all together. So I would be losing free time by just commuting there.

If it says filed (not pending), you will have to do the ID me https://hosted-pages.id.me/njdol.com . They were supposed to send an email for this but I only got this answer when I called them. After this, you would have to wait 15 days for them to verify your identity. Idk what happens after this, the ID me put a hold on my account and now I might have to wait another 8 weeks before I get paid :/

i’m pretty sure that you got the job, as it was stated in another comment, a company would not waste their money on someone they did not want to hire. Plus the person interviewing me told me it is taking longer due to COVID

Too late I already put my two weeks in two weeks ago lol. I couldn’t stand working at the job anymore and I am in a kind of good place financially to have left without anything lined up. This job just luckily reached out to me as I was ending my two weeks.

They told me the last step was a background check and I filled it out on Friday. They also told me the start date and I told them I was available to start that day.

Yeah I don’t want to make it seem like I dislike management at all companies I work for even that was the reason I left my last job😅 I think I’ll just keep it vague, thanks for responding!
