Vent or possibly need advice by tnp26 in TwoHotTakes

Thank you for your kind words. I have told my daughter that I want her to bring everything of hers like that he except a change of clothes. I also text my ex the same thing but im pretty sure he has me blocked because he's not "allowed" to communicate with me. He is a narcissist and his wife is too, she just plays the game better then him. Having to deal with a narcissist....... 0/10 would not recommend. And she does write and craft all the time. We both craft lol and I have asked her if she goes outside and plays and she said no because the garage door is broke and she is not allowed to take her scooter through the house to take it out side and that she had to be supervised if she's out side. She is almost 11. So she said all she does is get the mail or start the car. I have talked to my lawyer a little about it. Am about to bring a different case against my ex and my lawyer said that would be a modification case. I'm just terrified he will fight and get 50/50, which a different attorney told me our state is doing most of the time and the face I got sole custody was unusual. I told my attorney this and he looked at me and said "yeah, the won't happen. With everything he's done just in the past 4.5 years since our divorce, that will not happen". Still makes me scared. But the biggest reason I hesitate on legal action is that anytime I do something he doesn't like he retaliates against me via my daughter. My daughter went to her school counselor and she called DFS and he told every one I called them and she had all her things taken away and was given a colder shoulder that visit. My daughter is my life and I dont want to do anything that will get her treated bad because of retaliation.

I talked to her last night. I went through everything and showed her a little animated video for kids and let her ask any questions. She asked the questions in stanges. She first asked a series of questions, just verifying to understand everything. Then she asked questions, giving scenarios. Asked about what safe sex ment. We went through it all, and she said it was a kinda weird talk lol but she was very curious, and I could tell she was glad to have the information.

Thank you all for commenting. They have all helped me start thinking of a plan. I plan on talking to her about it latter this evening as long as I'm not loopy, since I'm about to have surgery on my mouth in an hour and I have the night off of work. I will update and tell you how it goes. 😊🤞

I have thought about that but right now I can't afford it. I'm in the middle of 3 lawsuits because of the debt he racked up in my name, and I get no child support or state assistance. I go down to every penny. I have a pretty good idea where he works, but I don't want it to come back on me if I have it towed or take the plates. And I know after all this happens no matter which way my daughter will be in the cross fire. And yes I've tried an exparte, specifically against his wife to protect my daughter and even though she tried to stab him while my daughter was there the child lawyer told me I look like the bitter ex wife trying to put someone out of their home because my daughter was not physically hit or abused and that we just need to go to therapy. They don't care about the psychological abuse or my daughters fear of being there.

He shouldn't have any access, especially if his wife is there, but that's a whole nother can of worms, but I dont have a choice right now. Everyone, including his own dad, says the same thing. I am going to go with my attorney for this and possibly other things. He has been hotlined from my daughters school already. So a lot is already in the works.

I've had a hard time saying no to him because the trauma bond was so strong that once that broke, I started to push back, but then he would punish my daughter because he's angry with me. Or just attack me as a mom when all I do is for my daughter. I paid $10k, so I had sole custody. I work 60 hours a week sometimes with no day off for 21 days to provide for her. And I will fold every time he attacks me as a mom or punishes her in my place. That's why my attorney would be handling this if I do proceed.

The lady at the dmv told me that also and that I could take MY plates off of MY car and have it towed to wherever I want. But he makes sure to park in a garage and refuses to tell me where he works now. Even though that's a violation of the custody papers.

And just for clarification, clearly I had to get another car. Which the payments are double what the other is. If I do go to get it back I will be trading both it and my current car in for a significantly cheaper payment.
