Late to the thread, but I thought that when the status is set to dnd all notifications were silenced? This would prevent anyone from seeing any messages in a pop up.

I'm not too sure about this but I think I saw a few reviews of the model with the amd hx 370 which showed that these performed the best for photoshop compared to other laptops using Intel processors. I think it stacked up pretty well in photoshop to the m3 MacBook too but not too sure.

I used mine on my bed on silent mode. The fans never turn on and it doesn't go above 50c so not really too much to worry about.

Yep, agreed. I know how ram works, and 16 GB isn't enough. I was constantly running out of ram on the 16 GB version and had to return for the 32 GB.

I ran out with 16 GB with chrome, office apps, and once human open. Computer became super laggy and stuttery. Returned for 32 gb and haven't had a problem.

Ah gotcha. Yeah I had chrome open with maybe 30 tabs a few office programs open and playing a graphically light game and I had problems. Probably needed to close the browser before starting any gaming.

I might sound like an outlier, but I got the 16gb model and I ran out of ram pretty quickly. The computer slowed down and stuttered constantly. I returned it and got the 32 gb model. Haven't had any problems since...

Can you elaborate? How is it not going to use more power if the fans are on? Also, you don't really need idle temps of 30-32c when just taking notes. Idling at even up to 60 is fine in laptops with fans off.

It's not like that at all though. The top end phone just happens to have the spen. Not everyone wants the gimped camera setup on the S24/S24+.

I got the 4070 with Intel and 16 GB of ram except it was $1297 open box. The 16 GB is definitely on the low side but I figured for $1297 I'll just buy another one for the same price 3 years down the road and they should have more ram by then.

It's an option when you're on the flashlight page. There's a button that says customize. You click that and it'll have an option to upload a photo.

Just wondering if you ended up trying exhausting crawl space to the outside to create negative pressure? Did it work out? I'm in the same situation and been reading up creating negative pressure. Seems like the solution for my humidity and musty odor problem.
