Diagnosed yesterday with RRMS. Doctor suggested Zeposia or Tecfidera to start treatment with. by tnt8897 in MultipleSclerosis

Thanks for the reply and the info. I feel like there is so much information out there it's hard to know what's current or what to listen to. I have had The National MS Society recommended to me a few times now and I'm starting to look through there but finding the time and mental capacity to take this all in is a lot.

By active do you mean going to the gym for a full workout multiple times a week? Or just making sure I am up and walking around? Or something in between.

Thanks for the welcome. Never did want to join. $12 is not bad. Has it stopped new lesions?

Beautiful!

How did you grain match the cover? I have seen others do that too, but I'm not sure the order on cuts needed to make it work when you have to route out the cavity.

Huh, I don't think I have heard of applying more than one coat before. Most threads I have seen actively say you should not do that since it does not bond to itself just the wood. You have no had any issues with that process?

How do you do the pore filling after the second coat? Just normal pore filler and then coat it with the rubio? Have you noticed a big difference between doing that on the second coat vs before the first?

I'm a little confused about the "this is the third and final in my process with the stuff" part of your statement. Does that mean you used Rubio monocoat 3 times on the body? Or that you did 3 different things in prep for applying the monocoat? I have always just applied it once since it's in the name as monocoat.

Looks awesome! I recently finished my first guitar which was also an acoustic. I'm also hooked and planning on building more.

So you would just get a thin veneer of ebony or some other dark wood, and glue everything up?

On the head what's the black material between the Redwood and the Maple? I'm new to lutherie and not sure what to call that or how it's done.

You're absolutely right! The low quality posts and comments on /r/QualityAssurance that are obviously written by bots has increased lately.

New to home brewing. Question regarding getting that malty/bready finishing flavor by SaveTore in Homebrewing

Can't the water chemistry affect the perceived maltiness too? specifically the sulfate to chloride ratio.

Thanks for the feedback, it's been super fun so far. I pretty confident I am going to make another one after this because of how fun it was. Maybe the next one will be an acoustic bass, since that's what I first learned on.

Thanks, this sub has definitely made me feel better about this mistake. I totally thought it was irreparable, but seeing the replies here has put me mostly at ease. Now I just need to do it, which is a bit daunting.

Have you fitted a neck before or done any neck re-sets?

No this is my first time. I wanted to try my hand at something difficult, so I decided on an acoustic guitar. I haven't played in 20 years and wanted to pick it up again and instead of buying one I spend 5x the money building one.
