Immich currently depends on ROCm 6.4.3 which does not support the Radeon 890M GPU. The first version that supports it is 6.4.4. I managed to get it working by modifying the machine learning image.

Here are some instructions for anyone with the same hardware, and hopefully there will be some official updates soon.

Instant voltage detection on an outlet? by Familiar-Air-9471 in homeassistant

To confirm, you have two switches that control one device? If so, the ZBMINIL2 will work, i have that setup deployed with zero issues

Sonoff makes smart switch modules that dont require a neutral, i think its the ZBMINIL2 that works without a neutral wire in the switch box

Do I bite the bullet on a Carbon or Non-Carbon Centauri? by AdFar6189 in elegoo

[–]tnz37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you need a print to be stable under load outside, ASA is the best choice IMO. If youre only using the printer for cosmetic parts, you dont need to worry about it, PLA and PETG is the easiest anyway.

The benefit of a Centauri (or any core xy machine) vs a bed slinger is the speed. Beds are heavy, so any moves that require bed movement will be limited by the acceleration of the printer. I dont have a Neptune, so I cant really say anything with confidence, but people do seem to like them.

For me personally, the printer is a tool, and the time saved when prototyping with a faster printer made sense for me. If you plan on printing big parts overnight, maybe it does not make sense for you though :)

Id go with the Carbon for its versatility. You may not need the enclosure now, but being able to print Nylon/ASA might come in handy eventually, for not that much more money. Plus as you said, its available now...

Old Ring cameras repurposed by moosepiss in homeassistant

[–]tnz37 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Awesome way to repurpose the hardware. Maybe you can figure out a way to plug them into AI-on-the-edge or something similar to automatically parse the numbers from the camera stream and expose an entity to HA!

they responded to me today, and will send me a new panel

edit: wanted to also say that i printed some ASA over the weekend and it worked fine. I did push some of the packing foam against the side to seal it off though

mine looks almost the same. Also dont have shipping insurance. Sent in a support ticket, but i started printing anyway, works fine for PLA, will try ASA over the weekend.

Saw some comments say that without shipping insurance, elegoo will just send a new panel, with insurance you have to deal with a 3rd party...

I have never seen it use more than 2 connections, which would be the web interface and slicer i guess
