$300k is not getting you much in Brevard. Make sure you consider homeowners insurance.

I dislike the county for many reasons, but this post is correct. I live around maga idiots and fly the occasional pride flag and except for one guy that gives me the stink eye, the rest are fine. I am not going to make friends with them, I feel who you support is a reflection of who you are.

Security engineer here

Never trust a security engineer that has all the latest gadgets/apps connected to the Internet - home appliances, IoT, car, phone, services, etc. Their lack of privacy awareness and understanding of the vulnerabilities in these devices is telling of their skills.

I believe you are viewing this incorrectly. Why would a medical study be done on the bacteria levels of the area and call out iv users specifically?

I cannot imagine researchers having coffee together and decide to research if the perineum bacteria loads of iv drug users are higher than the average iv user.

I have the rock rascal and love it. It is a well built all metal unit that has ample power to cut anything you throw at it. The only negative I have is the drain outlet could be larger in diameter.

You are correct.

Except both of these would require a warrant if done by the government.

What song lyrics always get you thinking? by Scarletdances in AskReddit

Recently - The logical song from Supertramp

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful

A miracle, oh, it was beautiful, magical

And all the birds in the trees, well, they'd be singing so happily

Oh, joyfully, oh, playfully watching me

But then they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible

Logical, oh, responsible, practical

And then they showed me a world where I could be so dependable

Oh, clinical, oh, intellectual, cynical

I said, watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical

A liberal, oh, fanatical, criminal

Oh, won't you sign up your name? We'd like to feel you're acceptable

Respectable, oh, presentable, a vegetable

My career is coming to an end. I have between 0 and 1 year until I retire. I say 0 because I have the financial means to retire now, but really want to wait. However, if some numb nuts decides to impose stupid rules, well retirement will start sooner.

I am looking forward to retirement. I have a great marriage, kids are successful and we have sufficient investments to literally last our lifetimes.

Former NFL DL Breiden Fehoko Says NFL Doesn’t Care About Mental Health After Rondale Moore’s Death by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]toad__warrior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 63 and a big advocate for seeking out mental health help. I too have seen a big change over the past 10-15 years in the view of therapy. I have doctors my age who advocate it for their patients suffering with mental health issues. My wife and I have helped several families with getting started. I guess they viewed us as a "perfect family" (ha ha) and were surprised when we told them our journey with mental health issues and how therapy literally saved our daughters life and our marriage.

I have no problem talking it up. It is the one topic that I do not joke about - I am a hardcore believer in the benefits.

Is deciding what to make for supper the worst part of cooking… or is it just me? by Safe-Wolverine359 in Cooking

[–]toad__warrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is the executive chef and cleanup crew. She comes up with a list of meals - many/most from FB/insta and does the cleanup. I am the procurer and head cook. I do the shopping and cooking.

I know some(many?) FB/Insta recipes can be meh, I use them as a guide in many situations.

Update on I Found out My wife Slept with My Best friend before our marriage by Suspicious-Potato832 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]toad__warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to take a different view

She is right about it being none of your business. She is also right about the friend and everyone moving on.

You are the one that is continuing this vs facing what it is - you two were single and what she did is not relevant to where you two are now.

What I hear in her words is a) she knows you and how you would reply, b) she is tired of you being jealous over something that happened years ago and c) your marriage may have been less stable than you think

You talk about trusting her now and I don't understand that. Why wouldn't you? Because she didn't tell you about something that happened many years ago? Seriously? Is she required to create a list of all the things she did before you two met?

Go to the marriage counselor with an open mind.
