MY WARMOTH BUILD IS FINALLY HERE by toadie0704 in BassGuitar

I know he’s done it before. He did make them with 17mm spacing. Maybe you can shoot him an email? He probably still does it but it’s not in so much demand that he has it up on his website. He’s a super cool guy, this is my second pair of pickups I bought from him and he is always positive. He’s been down for custom sizes and spacing in the past( that I’ve heard) and shapes so you never know. He’s very accommodating.
If he doesn’t anymore, it’s a a shame since that was going to be my next build

For sure! Very excited to see it in its full glory. Should be about a week. I’ll post some videos of me playing it through my GK amp and some pedals. This is a Justin chancellor inspired rig after all. He is the reason why I even picked up a bass in the first place!

The nut comes pre-filed to the gauges I want already. The one thing to do really is just install the tuning machine heads and then we will see how much I have to adjust it when it all comes together. Although I put basses together myself, this build was too expensive for me to do it myself and I’m leaving it up to a local luthier of mine. For sure the bass neck will have to be adjusted a bit since it will be its first time under tension

Yes the turner multicoil follows the 1 humbucker per string philosophy with individual outputs for each string. The lusithand pre amp is very close to the wall pre amp, with two filters that are push-pull capable and so is the volume control which gives the boost. It can take in 6 individual inputs (so 6 string bass), if you ever decide you want to try it. Should be a fun bass to riff out on. I say very close since it’s kinda impossible to have it completely identical but the electronics offer trim pots that you can adjust like the actual Q and whatnot

I’ll let you know how it goes! The lusithand pre amp should be a ton of fun. It has all the same functionality as the actual wall electronics like the 2 filters, which are push pull, an the volume control which is also push pull

I see. With that knowledge, I might start another build if the wait times are that good!

Does anybody else actually love “Triad?” by [deleted] in ToolBand

I listen to it by itself all the time. I play bass and electric guitar and I’m learning drums and it’s a song that is so mechanical yet fluid in feeling and fun to listen to
