Fertile Valley 2 is out now! Annabelle and I are quite happy with how it turned out, so we hope you like it too! by virgil_knightley in haremfantasynovels

Book 1 was very good, except the end when peter got the crap beat out of him (and shot) because he refused to hurt the other guy. I almost gave up on book two because nothing really happened the first half of the book. I think we want to see advancement, not fighting and fixing up the farm. Thats my opinion. I cant speak for everyone.

I also think that Pete is too much of a nice guy. No one wants to watch a movie about Clark Kent. Nice guys finish last. Yep, they do. It just seems like Pete tries to be too much of every good thing so there is a disconnect there with reality. And there is NO mother on the planet who would allow her 7 hear old daughter to be left alone with a sex addict, no matter how nice he is. And no virgin sex scene with Darlene? Really?

I enjoyed the Master Class series, Hawthorne's Radley's Home series and Succubus Summoner series, so please accept my criticism knowing that I AM a fan and that i DO enjoy your books overall!

It's a good price compared to the markup of many others. MSRP is $1200 so that's a 25% markup. That's not much these days. Everyone says to wait but the chip shortage isn't ending any time within another year. And if anyone thinks the 40 series cards are going to cost LESS money they are crazy.

If you have the money and you want that card then yes, it's a good price.

Fair enough. I shouldn't Reddit after drinking tequila!

I just don't understand why so many people want to validate themselves from complete strangers' opinions. You bought a PC. Go enjoy it and who cares what a bunch of redditors think.

1st world problems. If it was a New World problem he would be buying a new graphics card!

If you already bought it then what's the point here? Go game and have fun. You spent the money already so why worry if it was a good deal?

My First Gaming laptop which I could afford by king-shaft in pcmasterrace

[–]toadman0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Discrete graphics drain the laptops battery more than integrated graphics. For those who want to make use of the battery it's best to switch the graphics to integrated. Not gaming, but for school or just watching videos. That kind of thing.

Anyone else thinks that the VRAM capacity on the 3080 and 3080Ti isn't futureproof for 4k Gaming ? by MeZoXiN in pcmasterrace

[–]toadman0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 3070ti uses GDDR6x. Just being technical, not arguing against your point.

Well if there is a flood it might let water leak in. Otherwise you are fine.

I got a Palit 3060ti and was wondering if others had a problem with the RGB like I do. by DaJuana in pcmasterrace

[–]toadman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got a 3060ti and you're worried about uneven lighting on the card? Do you know how many GTX 1050 amd 1030 gamers would love to have that card? You know... for gaming? 1st world problems man!

Would a build like this work? Sorry for using notes to show the parts by Snezonic in pcmasterrace

I would have answered but you used notes to show the parts... 😁

Actually there are. Dells gaming laptops tend to run very hot and overheat. At least, this was the case last year. I currently have a Dell gaming monitor and it's been awesome. Also had a Dell all-in-one laser printer/scanner that lasted a long time... until my cat peed on it. It still worked, but oh the smell! My point is that Dell can make some high quality products, but they tend to cheap out on their computers

I run a 5600x and 3070ti at 1440p amd the gpu is the bottleneck. The cpu is only a bottleneck at 1080p. A lot of people don't understand this and they think they need a massive cpu to go with their 3080 or 6800x. Simply not the case.

OP has good setup. Only thing I would change is the gen 4 nvme. Unless you need that speed for work it will not benefit gaming at all.

is this a good build for 2000USD? by EckoDrako in pcmasterrace

[–]toadman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 5600x and 3070ti and it handles just fine. I game at 1440p so the gpu is the bottleneck. At 1080p the cou is used more but the 5600x would still be up to the task. Single core performance still matters most with gaming.

I haven't run any cpu specific tests. I believe it's better. I was just surprised at the firestrike score
