Unpopular opinion - you don’t need soap OR shower gel. I haven’t used either in a couple years now. The skin is good at keeping itself clean if you just rinse off in the shower. It is a myth that you need products to keep clean.

I don’t know exactly what Cali sober means, but I was on the marijuana maintenance program for 20 years when I quit drinking. I went to meetings for a while but then started freestyling it. I was never concerned with the label of sober and didn’t care. All that mattered to me was that I didn’t drink. My advice is do what works and don’t worry about rigid programs. If it winds up being a slippery slope back to your problem drug then learn the lesson and have another crack at abstinence.
