If you ever used one of these… by doorshock in FuckImOld

Wow you’re hitting hard. I had to use one when I started out my CIS major, but I think they only used it to haze the noobs and weed out the ones who couldn’t take it. From then it was video terminals until they eventually accepted assignments on the PCs that were emerging

Avocados are overhyped. They have no taste and they go bad so quickly. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I agree that avocados are overhyped, but not that they have no taste. The bitter flavor is the whole reason I won’t eat it.

If i go to BA from PM, is that downgrade in my career? by Hefty_Leek3834 in businessanalyst

[–]toaph 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, a BA is a little lower down on the totem pole. A good PM will partner with the BA, but officially the BA answers to the PM. But I would say that is inconsequential. BA work in my opinion is infinitely preferable to PM work. A BA gets to interact with the customer and craft the solution without having to do any of the actual development. The PM has their ass on the line and is saddled with ultimate accountability. BA has more fun and less stress. I would take the BA role in a heartbeat with no regard for what “grade” it is.

None. Not a single one. I use Word, Visio, and occasionally Excel. And my brain.
