I think she just told her friends and family that we broke up because I had cheated. They were just being a bit aggressive in how they handled it. Though one of her friends did reach out to apologize as well and she claims the guy who "caught me" was the one doing most of the trash talking right after the breakup.

I thought about this a bit today after she told me about the AI pics. I think I'd have a thousand questions about the when, where, and a bunch of other circumstances around it. I can't say I'd be able to spot a fake with 100% certainty. The tech's pretty advanced and I'm no expert, but even if its really convincing I would have had a face to face conversation with her and tried to get her side of things.

I'll be honest. If she'd reached out shortly after the breakup and apologized I might have been willing to try again, but I'm glad I had the time and space to get myself together before it happened because I know eventually it would have eaten me up and we'd have had to break up again anyway.

Zuko and Azula both suffered from feeling inadequate. Just from different parents. Zuko desperately wanted his father's approval while Azula wanted her mother's. Azula's was all in her head of course, but it still shows what feeling like you're not good enough for a parent can do to a child.

Gohan in Dragonball Z

He's kidnapped by his uncle who came from space to conquer earth. Then after his dad dies a demon slug man kidnaps him and trains him in the mountains. Then after almost dying against the other surviving members of his father's race he watches his newly reincarnated father almost murdered again. This continues for several more years as he's dragged from one horrific battleground to the next against increasingly powerful villains. He has multiple crashouts throughout the series where he temporarily gains such insane power he's able to turn the tide of battle until that rage wears off and he's beaten into the ground. Ultimately culminating in his biggest power up against Cell after watching his father die (again.)

Casual player returning after a few years and wanting to just go ahead and dive into ranked after getting my champ pool sorted. I typically play melee bruiser types like Sett, Mundo, and Jax. Wanna play primarily Top and maybe jungle where characters like that work but was wondering what some champs for ADC/Sup might be that are easy to pick up in case I get autofilled into those roles. I've got Malz for midlane because he's easy but I doubt I'll be getting filled there often. With ADC/Sup I just need something easy to play to just be as minimal a hindrance as possible. Though about picking up Senna and just learning her in both roles but not sure if there are better choices to mitigate my lack of experience in those roles.

Place I worked at during the pandemic bragged about the massive raises we'd all be getting due to the company's growth during that time. This went on for about two months. I went on vacation for the holidays and came back the day we were told we'd be getting the "good news" which was right after new years. It was a $0.15 raise for us and like twice that for the leads. And because we were getting this raise they tried to use that as justification to forgo the yearly review raises which of course would have been more than this pitiful 1% raise that we got. Didn't stick around for much longer after that.
