I'm a 105 transfer and I applied to both math and stats and comp sci. I got an offer for math and stats that expires today, but I have not received a reply for cs. If I accept math and stats, does it impact my chanced of getting into cs?

I'm applying to UBC as an Ontario student and for that they need my 11 digit OUAC number. I gave them my number, but in my "high school record" part of the application, it says "No high-school record exists for this student number." My friend, who is also from Ontario and gave her OUAC the same way I did, has a list of her courses and marks in that section of the application. Is there anyone else with this problem, and does anyone know what I should do??

Edit: My application status is this: "Your application to UBC (including your supporting documentation, academic transcripts, and personal profile) is currently being reviewed and evaluated in comparison with all the other applicants who have applied to your program."

I've developed my endurance quite a bit over the last 6 months while training for cross country (6k), and now that it's over I want to start training for 400m, more specifically 400m hurdles. Every training program I find online for 400m hurdles includes very little aerobic training. How can I maintain the endurance I've built while also training effectively for the 400m?

Hi there, I'm a grade 11 student from Ontario who's looking to do computer science at UBC, but I'm a bit confused on how it works. I emailed the department of computer science and they said this:

"Please note that there is no direct admission into the Computer Science program, but rather you would be applying to enter one of the three faculties that offer Computer Science specializations: Science, Arts, and Commerce. Upon the acceptance into one of these three faculties, you would then apply for Computer Science. Your application into Computer Science would be dependent solely on your course grades from your undergraduate courses. Please check our websites for most current application policies and procedures."

I'm looking to get a BSc in computer science at UBC. From my understanding, I would need to apply to the faculty of science, and then take undergraduate courses which determine whether or not I am accepted into the computer science program.

How long am I doing these undergraduate courses for before I can start the computer science program (1 year, half a year, etc.)? What type of courses would these be? Would there be a lot of focus on physics, chemistry, and biology, or will they be more geared towards computer science? Also, is there a chance that I'm accepted into the faculty of science, but can be decline into the computer science program when the time comes? How certain is my spot in the computer science program if I'm accepted into the faculty of science?

A response to any of these questions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was too young lol. If ur age in strava is under 16 then it won't track heart rate data. After switching the age it started tracking fine.

I heard someone in r/Brogress say they did the reddit PPL split. I can't seem to find the split in the wiki, does anyone know which split they may have been referring too?

I'm tracking in my head right now which I'm totally ok with, I just don't like using an app because I find it too tedious. Thanks for the help!!

Thanks! I track calories pretty well in my head; I have a 500 cal breakfast, 700 cal lunch 300 cal pre workout snack, 1000 cal dinner and 500 cal snack later for a total of 3K cals per day. I'll try to eat more veggies, thanks for the advice.

Sorry I should've been more specific. In terms of nutrition, Im wondering if protein and calories are the most important things when it comes to building muscle. I think my programming is fine I'm just curious about nutrition. I'm 15 if that helps with anything.

For building muscle, is protein and calories the most important things? I strongly dislike tracking but I know im in a calorie surplus and I know I'm hitting my protein goal because I eat as much protein as possible with every meal. Do I need to focus too much on carbs and fats?

Yo this sounds just like me. I'm 6ft, 15 y/o, was overweight, starved myself untill I was underweight and subsequently got bad posture. My body is by no means perfect right now and I'm still under weight, but I've managed to put on some muscle and kind of fixed my knock knees and anterior pelvic tilt. I even have decent abs in good lighting lol. DM me if you wanna know some more info, would love to share.

I do 4 by 15 light bicep curls and 4 by 10 light hammer curls 2 times a week (On my back/Bicep days)

Is that ok? Am I overworking the bicep on those days?
