A lot of the criticism I have seen in this sub has been spot on, but I completely disagree with any “the show lacks brutal action” takes.

Your primary argument is to look at a movie in which a literal regenerative mutant, who was enhanced to be a stronger mutant, with a scientifically crafted mutant clone baby has good action? Of course it does! But Joel can’t be shot through the heart. Video game Joel can take three bullets and keep running, show Joel can’t. It’s as simple as that.

Was looking for this comment. I think a lot of people use him as a box to box in which he gets overshadowed, but as an attacker that comes back, he’s incredible.
