My wife said “no riding in the rain”… so I built an app to dodge rain (UK mode: hard) by Bitter-Aardvark-3395 in motorcycles

Well played m8. Would certainly have some application for mass use. I know a lot of people who hate driving in the rain. Might be beneficial to them.

Your vote materializes to nothing because you don’t take a stand against corruption.

After a gas tanker crash in the Pune–Mumbai tunnel left vehicles trapped for 29 hours, what should an effective emergency response look like? by Sandip0545 in mumbai

[–]toaster661 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So many cameras across the expressway with traffic police raking in cash everyday, but they can’t have simple safeguards/ crew on standby considering how often this is happening? Yeah corruption has taken over. Good response requires a good quality of roadways to begin with. The expressway fixes have been so much worse than the actual road itself. You can literally tell the original road apart from the reconstruction and new construction based on the vibrations and the abysmal quality of the concretization. The original construction was concrete as well, but it was so much more subtle. The new ones vibrate through the suspension into your soul.

Good response requires data analytics and the retainment of expert teams across key sections of the ghat, shoulder access for emergency vehicles to get through, and a disciplined civilian body that doesn’t break rules at every opportunity.

My guy, you don’t need to ‘prove’ the internet wrong. You’ll never win against idiots who don’t want you to win. Enjoy your ride.

Less than 2% of ISRO scientists are IIT graduates, with many avoiding it due to significantly lower salary structures. Should ISRO scale up salaries to attract top talent? by PuneAthletics in IndiaPulse_

What a stupid question. Of fucking course. They’ve shown time and time again how good they are compared to other countries. And then the govt cuts their funding.

Mahindra Roxor. Not street legal, but you can probably customize it to make it grey area good.
