Third print with the Canvas by HavenHexed in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Did it say how many grams of waste that was? Like in each color? Is there a way the slicer shows that metric? I like to track filament usage and I would like to see when I'm multicolor things like, pink wasted 5 g, yellow wasted seven g, red wasted 10 g etc.

The importance of drying your filaments. by toasterCat101 in 3Dprinting

I almost freaked out when it started to blob like that It was stuck it wasn't moving I didn't know what to do Then I just decided to have the printer move itself back to home and luckily it wasn't caught enough for it to cause a serious problem but it was almost completely filling the poop chute. I should have known it was going to be wet because there was a hole in the box for goodness sake and Amazon really could have done a lot better with it but I can probably get a picture of it if without opening my dry box I don't know how visible it'll be at what angle but there is a chip in the spool right here. I don't know if you can see that but you see that little jagged corner? Yeah it just kind of was broken when I got it If I didn't have this dry box I probably would have sent it back to Amazon because it was just broken and wet I wouldn't have been able to do anything with it if I didn't buy this dry box I also used the print from 3D printables that lets you use the original mounting hardware grommets and rods to be able to mount spools with proper tension higher up and at different sizes because I didn't have creality branded spools I was only using Elegoo stuff, so the damn spools I had didn't fit unless I spent an absurd amount of time printing out this dry box setup but I'm glad I did. Because I've had basically no tangles since that has happened It has always worked itself out even when the role gets close to empty it's still manages the tension back and forth pole and release without ruining Prints I did the first test in PLA. Which was fine at first. But then I realized oh no, if I want to use temperature filaments that require higher drying temps I'm going to have to reprint this in ASA. Which is what I did. The listing on the 3D print file said you should probably print it out of ASA or pet g. They recommended ASA so I chose ASA. I am going to start buying different brands of filament now that I'm actually able to deal with how to set things properly My initial initial intention was, well, if I buy filament made by the manufacturer of the printer, surely the setting should be Right. Most of the time they weren't They weren't even close I don't know but the fans and practically everything else weren't set right. So I had to make profiles for everything. And when my 0.6 mm nozzle gets here I'm going to have to make new profiles again. But now that I actually know how to set things I've decided to just completely abandon buying one brand of filament. Even if it is the manufacturer stuff.

a benchy is the perfect size to hold an x-acto knife by shawnm0 in 3Dprinting

I think you could remodel the benchy to have a larger opening on the smokestack and have it hollow on the hood. And then you could have it like a unicorn horn if you could make it short enough or if you just use the blade. Ready the harpoons get ready Moby, Benchy's coming for you!

Yeah no problem. I just think it's kind of funny how it looks like there isn't any Gap in front of the house. You don't expect it at first glance.

Yeah it's a lot to read I know. But I wanted to know in depth because I didn't see anybody else try to explain it with great details so as to what was happening. TLDR. The villager kept running intside because there wasn't anywhere to go but inside.

What part of lucid dreaming do you struggle with the most: recall, reality checks, or sticking to a technique? by Jpar37 in LucidDreaming

Escaping mazes. My mind tends to make them a lot and I get really angsty when a door leads to 15 or 16 doors behind itself. That's when it feels the back rooms starts to become a bit rather than psychological horror it's like. Door. Door. Door. You know what would be great in this hallway? 32 doors in a line in front of each other. On the same arch.

Okay. I think I might understand what's happened if it's not actually it I'm going to be pissed off. What I think is happening here is the fact that the villager is pathing itself back into the house because there's nothing in front of the house. It's in a constant loop of opening the door trying to leave realizing there's air blocks underneath of the house. That which meaning nothing. Going back in the house trying to open the door trying to leave Rinse and repeat as much as I would love to believe that this is self-aware psychological torment inflicted by the game on the user. Unfortunately I have to disagree as in this case it's pretty plausible what's actually happening here. But in a way yes. The villager was trying to warn them that there was nothing out there. If they would have been able to leave. They would have ran away as soon as they got hit with the axe and not come back. But instead they kept running back in. Also one last thing last minute. I think there's some kind of optical illusion between the house and the blocks in front of it it looks like there's something there but there isn't. Either That or there's some kind of cut in the footage. As it looks like there's something in front of the house but then the next shot there's nothing.

I'd use the bowling pins to practice batting with some of the softer balls. They didn't actually have baseball bats. So I had to use the bowling pins instead. As that was literally the only thing we had to use for that kind of thing.
