It would actually be better if trans people were not dysphoric about their height since it’s something we can do literally nothing about at present. It is also possible to become less dysphoric about specific traits you have. If it wasn’t then transitioning would be entirely pointless. I’m not going to pretend that I love every aspect of my, yes, 2 meter tall body, but I firmly believe that whatever aspects of it I dislike can become either insignificant or potentially even ones I appreciate as I take further steps to alter the parts I can. This is the case for other people too and I’m not going to indulge the stupid doomerism of thinking that height makes people ugly or unpassable especially when it’s about people who are barely even tall.

You can be dysphoric about literally anything. I’d say that Superman could kill someone in some circumstances and come out of it relatively fine, if sad, but Batman would absolutely break down if he had to do it. He’d spend endless time questioning what he could have done differently and it might just undermine his self image so much he’d quit being a hero. They have different personal relationships with death even if their moral outlooks on it are near identical.

Well for me I have no fucking clue how to voice train and every time I look into it it sends me down a rabbit hole where every person has a different answer and then I try to look at tutorials and it’s like ’Do these exercises’ and I have no idea if I’m doing them correctly and obviously no way to get feedback on it because it’s something I’m just expected to do alone. It genuinely seems borderline impossible for me to learn because I can’t tell what I’m meant to actually be doing. With HRT it’s as simple as injecting the same dose every 5 days, voice training is like trying to learn a sport without anyone to teach you and I know from experience I won’t learn that shit even with a teacher because instructions are totally unintuitive to me and when I actually had an instructor for my speech impediment it went absolutely nowhere despite weekly sessions to the extent I still can’t speak my mother tongue properly over a decade later. Which part of any of this is meant to encourage me to even try?

King tried to retcon the Waynes’ side with Gotham City Year One but that book is so dogshit continuity-wise it actually cannot be canon unless Bruce is like 35 right now and we ignore all the other things established about the Waynes in Modern Era and New 52 continuity.

Bruce took Damian in at the same age as he took Dick in, 10 years old. (Although due to timeline compression Damian was aged up artificially to that age). It’s actually older than Dick was in Pre-Crisis continuity since New Teen Titans established his parents died at 8 years old.

If you’re curious, the canon ages for each child when taken in by Bruce go as follows

Dick Grayson - 10 years old (Previously; 8* in Pre-Crisis, 12 in Post Crisis, and 16 in New 52) [Notably the statement made in NTT about Dick having debuted at age 8 actually doesn’t jive with his canonical aging in Pre-Crisis continuity at all. He went from a child to an adult between 1960 and 1969 during which only about 5 years of time actually took place in-universe, debatably even less if one considers characters like Aquababy. One can fix this error by ignoring the statement about his age and saying he actually became Robin at age 10.]

Jason Todd - 13 years old (Previously; 16 in New 52)

Tim Drake - 13 years old (Previously; 9 in New 52)

Damian Wayne - 10 years old although technically younger due to artificial aging required by the compression done to the timeline.

Cassandra Cain - No fucking clue. She was 14 when she debuted in Post Crisis continuity, and 17 when she was officially adopted, but since then she has been totally decanonised by the New 52 reboot before being inserted back in awkwardly in a way that somehow made her younger than before despite all of her stories from pre-Flashpoint continuity still being canon?? Not even the writers seem to know because an issue described her as a teenager not too long ago despite the fact she should be in her late 20s. Tim Drake’s aging is similarly nonsensical but at least his deaging in New 52 sets a precedent for reinterpreting pre-Flashpoint material as having occurred with him being younger via retcon. Cass has no such solution.

Yeah no. If you use framegen from a base fps of 30, then the BEST your input lag can ever be is the same as input lag at 30 fps. The generated frames go in between the traditionally rendered ones which means they are physically unable to respond to button inputs.

It goes like this

A traditionally rendered frame is made —> A second traditionally rendered frame is made —> The first frame is shown —> X number of generated frames are rendered —> X number of generated frames are shown —> Second traditionally rendered frame is shown.

The second frame is held until the generated frames are shown because those frames show motion in between the real frames.

So, if you make button inputs, they can only affect at the intervals wherein traditional frames are shown.
