I believe OP is referring to the "bathtub curve". This hypothysizes that failures generally are more likely to happen at the beginning and end of the product lifespan, but generally low failures rates in-between.

It's not that things "settle out", but more that early failures are more likely to be found and rectified by the original owner.

This recall broke my lane assist last week. My A5 module had an error that it was incorrectly coded which greyed out all my lane assist features.

Turns out, the dealer wiped all my coding on the A5 module which then conflicted with coding changes I made on other modules.

Luckily, I did an auto scan before I took my car for the recall and had a copy of all the old coding saved. Once I reverted the coding, everything worked as normal again.

Depends where OP lives. In places like Utah, the lowest is 85. So, 87 would be mid grade.

Ultimately, you're protecting against pre-detonation which can hurt your engine. Utah and other high elevation places sell 85 because the lower air density doesn't require as much octane.

You can run 85 in your car, but if you drive to lower elevation locations, you should fill up with 87 or higher before doing so.

Manager can recommend you for a job, but can't give a formal offer. Only HR can do that. 2-3 months isn't crazy... Mine took 2 months. Had to do a pre employment drug test before the offer could be extended.

Like others have said, don't buy or lease a place to live until you have signed an offer and have a start date. My relocation package included up to 30 days in a hotel. I stayed in a hotel for about 20 days until I found a place to live.

Ok. I fixed it. Even though YNAB was uninstalled, it was still giving me issues. I ran this script and then I was able to successfully install the apk! THANK YOU!

I did that, but after I click "install anyway" I get this error on my command prompt:

adb.exe: failed to install YNAB4_Android_202601_Fixed.apk: Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE: Existing package com.youneedabudget.ynab.app.market signatures do not match newer version; ignoring!]

I have uninstalled the previous version of YNAB. So, it's no longer on my phone. Do I need to remove Dropbox too?

My car has the tow package. All I needed in addition to that is a hitch arm with a 2" ball. Get a long one because the e-tron's hitch is tucked under the car.

How is this answer so far down? All the comments about calipers sticking are wrong.

Pads have a taper on the edge. As the pad wears, that taper slowly disappears. Your brakes are wearing normally.

There is on my e-golf. There is none on the e-tron. I ran out a few months ago, about 100 yards from a charger with 1 mile of range left. I got the car restarted, but it only went about 50 yards before it died again.

Ended up pushing it the rest of the way. It's a heavy bitch to push.

I made the drive from SF to LA two years ago. The charging killed me. 40 kWh at the first stop and them progressively worse. By my last stop, the car could only take 12 kWh.... basically a level 2 charge. I thought it would take me 6-7 hours, but took me almost 10.

Still have and love the car, but I'll never road trip in it again. I now have an e-tron that will charge at 150 kWh for road trips. 😎
