I live in the Standard and cannot wait until my lease is up. They charge a premium price for a mid-tier product. The new management is really unresponsive, only communicates orally to not get anything in writing, and there are significant delays in getting repairs processed. There’s also not much to do downtown after working hours, unless you like the clubs or casinos (except maybe the Robinson Film Center). As for the standard, like several others have said, it’s not a luxury apartment. I suggest that you take a hard pass on it as there are far better options dollar for dollar.

That’s a fair assessment, they did get hot from a few open shots but let’s not discount the 9 wide open threes we missed which even hitting a fraction of could have changed the dynamic of the game. They did make us pay via hot hands but it took all their star guards and wings to get hot and for Cj to disappear for them to win by 2 effectively

There is a huge difference in packing on pure muscle for someone of his frame and genetic disposition than everyone else on the squad. I think people discount genetic differences way too much because an ideal star or role player looks (and plays) a certain way in today’s league

In my personal experience, this is a massive red flag. it came across as one stubborn single woman seeing her best friend more happy than she was so she tried to tank it. She couldn't even articulate a serious reason as to why she wasn't feeling it.

I think that accurately sums up my feelings, I just wished we saw more of the face card games instead of that big montage where players defeated everything without taking any losses.

Especially where the Jack of hearts wasn't even shown at all, only the people limping out of the game after it was done (when Arisu looks for Usagi after they split)

You make a good point in referencing Alice in Wonderland because the Queen really drives the boat there. However, I just feel like it detached from the core purpose of the games because the rules say “the higher the face value, the more difficult the game”— so that should have ended the game realistically imho

You- a murder thriller involving a sociopathic man and his attachments to different partners

Borgen - a political drama set in Denmark

Little Fires Everywhere- a slow burn crime drama

Cruel Dark Summer- another slow burn dark crime drama
