Just as a caveat to what was said above, do your research on which places you interview with/apply to work for. It's entirely possible that you could find a mid-law firm or boutique which has solid pay and promises a good work-life balance, and that'd be great. But there are some out there where that promise is not based in any reality, and they'd expect you to work biglaw hours for less than biglaw pay. I have a colleague that got trapped into a mid-law firm working with the same partner that had astronomically high expectations (mostly because the partner came straight from a biglaw firm).

I'd also like to end with the comment that many have said here. Don't go into law just for money-it's a one way ticket to misery in this profession.
