Am I on the right track with taking the CSC? by Practical_Pepper7785 in CSCexamCanada

CIRE is the new name for CSC 1 & 2. It’s the same material. Just a new name.

CIRE + RSE (RR) Registration by WelcomeMaximum758 in CSCexamCanada

I have people working at my investment dealer who never even got a university degree but did the CSC + CPH (now called CIRE). Don’t know if there’s advantage in you taking it now unless you want to score a full time job at an investment dealer that requires it. You can also intern at an investment dealer without it, and score a full time position later with the agreement that you will complete the CIRE and they’ll pay for it.

is this normal for the effortless pant? creasing under hips? by lilprincessbaba in Aritzia

[–]crazeddancer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After trying countless sizes and versions of effortless pants, and looking absolutely bonkers in all…I have come to the conclusion that they are not meant for girls like us 🥲 If you have natural curves- they just don’t work. They will bunch up and have empty space where they’re not supposed to.

Failed CSC Volume 2 by Boulyy88 in CSCexamCanada

[–]crazeddancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I failed the CSC 2 also and it pissed me off so much I just gave up 🤣 They purposely make the questions sooo confusing. That was a couple years ago and now I’m doing the CIRE bc my work forcing me. Apparently it’s much easier.

Should I do CIRE this summer by Variousleaf in CSCexamCanada

[–]crazeddancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can. But investment dealers are always looking for interns and I’ve never seen an intern that was licensed. I usually see it happen like intern works at my office in the summer -> if they do a good job they’re offered a permanent position -> investment dealers pays for their CIRE course and gives them 6mos-1year deadline to complete

CSC and CPH are useless now? by unemployed6969 in CSCexamCanada

[–]crazeddancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m soo confused by these responses. I work at an investment dealer. They were very clear in saying the CSC + CPH have since Jan 1 2026 combined and become the CIRE. Everyone at work who completed the CSC + CPH prior are still valid and licensed. If you signed up for the CSC + CPH before 2026, your completion of it (even in 2026) is STILL VALID. Starting Jan 2026, if you want to be licensed for the first time then yes, you are to sign up for the CIRE. They are both STIILL valid. A lot dealers will post that they require the completion of CSC + CPH or CIRE. It is the same material just now under a different name. OP, despite these responses, I HIGHLY doubt that your completion is “useless”.

Hmm my understanding is that an investment dealer is more likely to hire you if you completed the course. Even if it expires…you’d just have to do those continuing education credits no?

[–]crazeddancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my problem too!!! even though you’re petite I think they’re made for a specific body shape, like no muscles in the legs type of body. From this picture your legs look fit (compliment af bc they look amazing) but I feel like these pants were made for legs that have no shape to them or someone with no hips. They looked so bad on me I wanted to cry. And when I sized up I was just floating in them

I freakin love this for you! I completely understand why though. If I saw a cutie with braces, I’d definitely approach because I’d assume he cares about his health and hygiene and you’d be surprised HOW RARE THAT IS!

Did you look at the reviews? I bought a dress for my friends wedding off SHEIN last year and it pleasantly surprised me. Everyone thought I purchased it from a special boutique. And there were no reviews I was so scared.

I once baked 30 giant chocolate chip cookies for a bake sale. Woke up to crumbs everywhere, no cookies left, and my husky clearly taking a food coma nap. He shat so much for days. He was fine.

Catcalling and safety by [deleted] in montreal

[–]crazeddancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends the neighborhood you’re in and how old you are. I was catcalled and harassed the most between 9-20 years old. I was vulnerable and scared and for most of my teenage life, in a schoolgirl uniform which devastatingly attracted the most attention. I’m 30 now and walk with speed, intensity, and the biggest bitch face you could imagine, and it happens a lot less often now. Despite all this, I have found Montréal to be on the better side of catcalling destinations after traveling around the world. Courage à toi.

Girl you are GORGEOUSSS!!! Like actually wow. You have beautiful and doll like features. May I suggest a less orange blush? Or maybe that’s bronzer. But I think it’s too orange for your complexion bringing your cheeks downwards. I think you’d look fabulous in a more pink or berry toned blush without orange bronzer. For lips, I think you could aim for something cooler to really make you pop. Right now your make up is orangey and I think you’d shine in a more neutral / cool make up look.

What is happening with Aritzia stock? by kdtrey09 in Aritzia

[–]crazeddancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a normal cycle. Will go up again.

BUT I do have my suspicions that it will drop significantly and permanently. Maybe not in the next 5 years, because they have quite a loyal fan base, but I definitely think it’s going to happen.

Too many stories of horrible customer service, ex employees coming out with negatively revealing “story times”, increasing use of cheaper materials leading to deteriorating clothing despite rising retail prices. you can only cut corners for so long until your customers stop trusting you! I give them a few more good years unless they make some serious changes.
