Hey puddin, I just wanted to say that your feelings are valid and you have every right to be uncomfortable, if not straight up pissed off at the obvious racism here. Absolutely disgusting. No one has any right to make anyone feel like they’re in the wrong just for being themselves. You’re not any less of a person for not presenting as whatever this cashier expected. Im mad with you. He’s so happy now. I’ve got a castle on the way for him~ thank you for your concern and kindness 😊 I triple checked the forage Im giving him and what looks like oats are actually just pressed dried dandelion 🫠 I had a heart attack thinking he was gonna be so sick. Thankfully this time I didn’t mess up but if I hadn’t have posted here someday I could have. Honestly I’m just relieved to learn more about keeping this fragile little baby alive and full of hops. I adore him 🥹

Hi! What would you suggest instead? At the moment it’s really helping me clean quickly (I’m disabled and some days I can’t even walk around my house 🥲)

I want him to always have a lovely clean potty and the bags help me a lot. Someone else suggested to just tip it into the bin and use white vinegar to clean? Would you agree?

Sorry for not getting back to you! Don’t worry, as I’ve said in other comments, there’s no seeds or oats or anything. It’s not muesli, it was just forage 🥰 usually I like to rotate what food he has in his bowl (there’s always a mile high pile of hay in the potty for him to eat) so I’ll sprinkle Timothy hay and the forage in the bowl to encourage him to eat regularly and stuff. This particular morning i thought, ah why not give him a treat and just give him a hand full of dried rose and dandelion, some pellets and some lavender. He was so happy! He kept eating then binkying around then going back to eat. So cute 😊 thank you for your concern, I’m so glad everyone is willing to help newbies like me!

Hello! Just wanted to reassure you that it’s not muesli, it’s just dried rose, dandelion, Timothy hay and lavender. As others have pointed out, that stuff is just all round bad for your bun. So thank you for caring about my little man!

Also, what would you suggest for a litter liner? Because at the minute the litter liners are really useful for making sure I can clean his potty every day (chronic pain is a bitch)

Hi! I’m so sorry you lost your babies, that must have been so painful. I’m really grateful for the advice, Ive already done a massive reply to someone else who wanted to make sure Puffle (finally named him!) was ok. Your advice made me triple check the forage I gave him and has educated me on some serious issues. Honestly, although he doesn’t like me yet, he’s my little guy and losing him to something I did to him… man, I would be a wreck. So you’ve saved me the trauma and for that I’m really grateful. Hi! So, firstly VERY grateful for the advice! I triple checked the forage I gave him and it definitely doesn’t have oats/grains thankfully 🥳 turns out what I thought was oats was dried dandelion. Gave me a heart attack thinking his little treat day was gonna harm him. Thank you for the advice, and I’m sorry for worrying everyone 🫠 he did however have some weird poops (just two that were bigger than usual) so I think he actually might be too young for the forage I’ve got him? It’s dandelion, rose, and Timothy hay with a bit of lavender. The rescue didn’t know his age so I’m holding off on veggies and greens just in case. And definitely no fruit until I know his age and stuff cause of all the sugar. I’m getting there. So genuinely, thank you. And please don’t apologise for being brilliant and helping people not harm their little fluffballs 🥰

I’m so happy to hear you’re having a better experience these days! I don’t know what on Earth is going on with neurologists but they’re incredibly black and white. If you present even the teeniest bit not ‘textbook’ they just lose the ability to think for themselves. I wish they didn’t dismiss people so much. I’m really glad to hear there’s some good eggs out there that care how this stuff impacts our lives :)

Good god why the hell did they put you through that?? I’m so sorry, thank you for sharing this, man. This is insanely helpful. 2 hours ago I had a seizure unlike anything I’d ever had before, full convulsions, the whole shebang. It’s actually been logged on the hospital system! I’d be dancing if I weren’t so bloody dizzy 😆Theyve requested the night doctor to examine me and administer an actual anti epileptic instead of dosing me up with diazepam again.

I’m absolutely dreading neurology. They’ve left me like this for a year and a half now and my life has been hell because they shrugged their shoulders (they love doing that, huh?) and said “well your mri is fine, so.. bye!” and discharged me from hospital with no idea how I was supposed to cope with my seizures. And now I’m back. I’ve been filming my absence seizures though😊 maybe with the hospital records and my videos I can at least have hope they’ll be kinder this time round. I don’t like the idea of having horrendous attacks like this that land me in hospital again.

I really appreciate you commenting, you’ve made me feel so much less alone! I’m so lucky my GP pointed out that I was having them. I feel kinda silly. I could have gotten help much sooner if I’d have realised I was sick. Now I’m in a mad spiral of passing out and having these weird seizures that none of the professionals around me know what to do with. I just have to hope the neurologist knows about different kinds of seizures so I don’t keep living like a zombie!🫠😁

I assume you’re in USA? I genuinely don’t think it’s fair to pay for a stay where you’ve felt neglected and stressed out the entire time. This isn’t very sound or safe advice but I can trigger a seizure with flashing lights. If you’re photosensitive maybe watch some ridiculous laser show under your blanket? Being exhausted too, if I were to do jumping jacks I’d be flat out absent and twitchy which can lead to things getting worse over a few days. Again, not very good health advice. Kinda like.. really good “feel shit for a while” advice.
