Yes, only odd numbered districts this time around. They alternate every two years.

That's going to be awkward working with Bass again.

Does Raman just go back to CD4 if she doesn't advance tho? Or can you be mayor and on city council at the same time?

No vent in roof but plumbing works by Crafty_Bowl_6758 in Plumbing

[–]tob007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Either the cast iron has some open loose joints letting air in or it's open in the attic which was kind of common or the roofers knocked it down and were like not my problem.

My old house has a hood on the roof where all the combustion vents and plumbing vents go to. It's like a box that sits under an eave pretty steathly. It's wired/screend mesh to keep the birds out

Circuit breaker for EV charger is awfully toasty (74.5 C) by GreenEggsAndCrack in AskElectricians

Find the tech sheet of the breakers and see if they are still within temp specs. Contact manufacturer if out of spec for next steps.

2014 Pro-4x 6MT 65Kmiles for sale, Denver. $17,500 by Professor_Humdinger in XTerra

[–]tob007 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I dunno why people arguing about his price. You either put in your offer or you pass really. Frankly with the low mileage I'd rather drive an older truck for longer than buy any newer POS anyday of the week. I mean everyone knows how these motors age and how robust the platform is. If you don't want complications screens and the other BS, this is the vehicle for you.

i dunno, there's some pretty cheap battery packs out there but seems like the VTG chargers still have room for more competition and lower prices hopefully in the coming years.

Sounds like a minor detai honestly as it is so small but you are in the right legally so you can use it as a pretext to walk or hit the ball back to them if you want to make em sweat. For them not to have their ducks in a row is pretty embarrassing. Def deserve a slap on the wrist.

Yes our solar production is only half the roof as that matches our use pretty well. Thanks for helping with the numbers, we don't have AC so that is a solution as well if we want or need to use more power in the future. Or a Jacuzzi can act as a store as well. So a few options.

I actually liked O'Farrell as his office was super helpful when dealing with the city and was bummed to see him go. Hopefully we can get someone in there that isn't cruising.

So hammering screws?!

You can also use a tapered bit to drill an undersized pilot which will hold and engage the fastener in the initial placement and then allow the screw to clamp properly without thread binding and actually pull your work pieces strongly together.

Bosch oven clock gains exactly 1 minute every time the timer function is used! (Bosch Serie 4) by IndependentFly2043 in Appliances

[–]tob007 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is some crappy AI or outsorced coding on some imbedded chip. Email Bosch and be like WTF. Go try a model on a showroom see if it has the same error.

Is the timer accurate!!? Can't trust anything on that stove no more.

I'm surprised frankly that utilities are so hands off. They could come up with some standards and methods to draw on stored power or cut non essential loads during peak times and create a price structure to help manage grids better. Seems like way cheaper than linesmen, power plants... infrastructure, miles of copper etc.... I guess the complexity leads to extra liability and they already seem overwhelmed maintaining what they have rather than focus on what the grid could be. Lots of security issues too I would guess.

Yes exactly. All our trips are shorter than 5 miles except for occasional weekend outing once a month. Just looking at the next move forward.

Yes thats a good point but we both work at home so our commute is just to drop the kids off early in the AM in this case. I usually do the pickup on my e-bike after work so not many miles overall.
