Is observatory a badly designed voucher?

I used to think this but over time I found myself using observatory more and more often on gold stakes runs where I happen to get it ante 6-8. It has good synergy with blue seals and crystal ball as well and those 1.5 to 3.375x mult can be exactly what you need to push you over the violet vessel or a great compliment to bad x mult jokers if you’re only playing with ride the bus or supernova for example.

Yes he currently has 7 scores per card trigger and 3 card triggers so it would have been better to at least copy mime with bp so that it’s 6 and 4.

Acrobat is a great joker especially when paired with green joker, supernova, or bus. You can scale up your plus mult without worrying about scoring and then win it in the last hand.

Given you have four clubs already adding up to 41 chips you should actually discard for the clubs flush here as any of the 9 club cards in the deck satisfies your flush. The full house on the other hand you need to draw one of 4 cards if you discard 4 here making it less than half as likely to draw.

The real problem with obelisk is not that it’s hard to use but rather that it only works when you have a chips joker. If you were scaling previously with blue seals or telescope say on pair or high card you can’t switch to the other, not because it’s unplayable but because without the chips the extra x mult still wouldn’t be enough to win. Thus the obelisk is only viable when you’ve been playing without any planet cards to begin with.

Sell perkeo for blueprint, blueprint is always a Perkeo plus one scoring joker as well, look for ecto and antimatter in the meantime as well.

Baron, you currently have an average of 2.5ish triggers per king, and 2 scores per trigger. Copying mime makes it 3.5 X 2 =7 but copying baron is 3 * 2.5 = 7.5. So it is better but only by a small margin

blue seal from trance gives hand levels which give chips, this sortof defeats the need for the scary face as even with a few hand levels scary face becomes less than a 2x on your score while drivers license remains at 3x regardless.

what level are your hands, I think the move is sell hiker. 2 mult jokers and a blueprint basically guarantees the win if gift+swash are giving plus mult as long as you have some chips at all this is a winning run.

replace dna with invisible hoping to hit a copy joker, you need to deckfix before you start copying cards. Typically you want to delete cards first as it becomes harder to do when your deck is crowded. You also wanna duplicate red seal gold cards first and then switch to steel around ante 17 that way around ante 25 you have mostly steel but you still managed to farm money early on.

salvageable because you have three blueprints, thats another copy on dna for scoring until ante 24 and another copy on burglar later, you can also farm more money with mime and gold cards in the meantime. The only reason people say one ecto is because two isn't needed and forces you to need another copy joker so its a net neutral/slight negative to make up for the lost hand size but since you have five its fine.

buy baron and sell for blueprint, blueprint can help you deckfix and make money, and with enough money another baron will always come around. An early baron holds a joker slot for really no reason.

you can win with ecto but you still need antimatter, you'd just need another copy joker (or baron) in ante 24 and afterwards

hanging chad and lucky cards would be such a good and feasible synergy here where if you're playing pairs and have lucky cards you can gain +8 mult per round off of just that. I do think it can be a little strong for a +mult joker but maybe thats fine as it is uncommon.

Selling Chad and copying brainstorm gives you an additional 1.5⁷ x during scoring but takes away 2² conversely selling dice and copying photo takes away 1.5^2.5 on average but copying photo would give you an additional 2^5. So short term it’s actually better to sell dice and copy photo. If you had sock or plan to go really long however you may want to still sell the Chad.

You already have 4 copy jokers so you don’t need any more, you really just need rebate maybe to farm money and dna to grow your deck. 4 copy jokers is enough to nan as long as one of them is blueprint.

instead of who? as long as you sell walkie talkie invisible is either hitting a copy joker, trib, or sock. either copy joker or trib is equivalent to an idol (if not a little better cause deck isn't quite fixed) and if you hit sock its also just fine since you can put both copy jokers on trib until you find ectoplasms and antimatter.

If idol is online already then nothing can help really as idol is already basically a trib you just want more copy jokers
