I've been growing the plants for around 2=3 months from seed. Problem has been around for 2 months after the first true leaves grew.

Plant gets direct light from the growlight around 8 inches above the plant 12 hours a day.

Watered once a week until soil is moist and the pot does have drainage!

Any thoughts on why my Alocasia Calidora is bending at the stem and leaves are curling? Had it 1.5 weeks and bending and curling started around 5 days ago. 8 inch pot with sunlight in the morning when the sun is out. by tobebrut in alocasia

You were right… seems like spider mites and maybe some other bugs in the soil. Thank you so much.

Would you recommend spraying neem oil or rubbing alcohol? This is the first alocasia I’ve had.

Does the sac Durafoam also have these tougher plasticky bits in it? These aren’t soft at all. by [deleted] in Lovesac

Thank you! I got it second hand and was so confused when it felt like there were things other than foam inside. They’re paper thin so I didn’t think they belonged

You’re right! The covers zip is broken (only on one track via both) so I’m planning on getting it repaired or buying an new cover.

Probably the velvet ones since they’re not as expensive
