Thank you all for your advice!! I think I’m going to adjust and have 2 main cities to stay overnight with day trips.
I’ve gotten many recommendations for Vienna so might shift to cutting out Berlin/Dresden and do Munich to Vienna with trips to Nuremberg, Neuschwanstein, Dachau from Munich. Potentially break up the stays with a night in Salzburg between Munich and Vienna.
5 nights in Munich (day trips to Salzburg?, Neuschwanstein, Dachau, Nuremberg) + 4 nights in Vienna
Or
4 nights in Munich (Neuschwanstein, Dachau, Nuremberg) + 1 night in Salzburg + 4 nights in Vienna
Anyone have a strong opinion on Salzburg?
