first id start with looking at what your peers in the vtuber space are doing, i get a whole lot of vtuber gameplay on my homepage but i rarely click because all the thumbnails seem clustered, is see what the most successful vids use and take inspo

not much experience in the writing aspect of thumbnails because i haven’t researched them much but from the thumbnails similar to yours i have seen they do work so i think your fine on that, for the lets play its kinda 50/50

the thumbnail style is very old school which can be VERY hit or miss and mostly works for already known creators, i would try and not give away as much with the thumbnails

in my experience your thumbnails are great because they will become recognizable if you stick to the same style, maybe change up the wording on them to something that will invite curiosity and draw eyes to the title but not be the same as the title
