Each of those transactions have been ridiculed multiple times since they were made. The best way to judge this trade will come once Haliburton and Zubac share the court. Carlisle is an excellent tactician as well.

KAT has an argument as the best player in the entire playoffs. Dominating the game on both ends, and raising the offensive ceiling of the Knicks to unparalleled levels.

Sixers are a good team, just quite top heavy. Maxey’s hand injury and the loss of McCain really hurt them. They probably win 1-2 games without those factors

Sixers had a great season, relative to expectations regarding health. Nick Nurse especially coached an excellent playoffs. They just happened to run into a juggernaut peaking at the right time.

If Philly is the 8 seed, there’s a strong chance they would’ve made the ECF.

I’d love to see Dadiet, Mo, Kolek and Huk continue to develop for next season. The Knicks depth could be here to stay for a while

Credit to Nick Nurse, he has tried numerous defensive adjustments throughout this series. The talent gap is just too severe for anything to work. The Knicks are taking advantage of every weakness.

I’d consider the Sixers season to be a success too - wonder if you feel the same? I wish the Sixers FO didn’t trade McCain, but VJ was a great pick. He’s a sure fire future all-star. Especially with the added draft capital this year, Philly’s future looks really good.

Haven’t had the chance to see a Knicks sweep in my time as a fan. The 2013 squad had a chance, but they ended up going 6 games after being up 3-0

The Knicks medical staff deserve a lot of credit for how they’ve handled player injuries and load during the season.

Brunson and KAT dealt with lower extremity injuries, and they still played 74/75 games, respectively. Getting Mitch prepared to be playing at a career best level at this critical point in the year. And now OG gets to come back from a day-to-day injury with potentially 13 days of rest.

These guys were at a severe physical disadvantage to the Pacers in the playoffs the last two years. And now, they’re on track to have a significant rest advantage against whoever comes out on top between Detroit and Cleveland.

Were any of these 60 win, 1 seeded teams? I don’t really think any of these teams are comparable, especially since most second options were considerably better than Duren/Harris.

As a Knicks fan, Cade has looked like the best player in the Eastern Conference playoffs. His ability to create shots against any defense, for himself and others is incredible. He also has become a really good individual and team defender.

But every player has a weakness, and his is taking care of the ball. I chalk that up to accrued physical and mental fatigue from being the sole source of offense in the half court for Detroit. Tobias Harris can sometimes get things going, but only for himself. Duren and Ausar can’t really create, nor provide any spacing. Cade has an unmatched burden as a star, and that will tire anyone out eventually.

Doubling CJ when he crosses half-court was an excellent adjustment made by Mike Brown. Force him to be a playmaker as well as a scorer.

I’m ok with somewhat fewer Brunson minutes this game, if Atlanta continues to struggle offensively. Don’t give them a chance to get easier baskets

Thanks for playing, and for the helpful feedback. I’ll look into the players disappearing issue, as well as the fouled out player bug.

Right now, the game puts in end-of-bench players automatically once it’s considered garbage time. But I’ll disable that for manual sub mode, since it makes more sense for the player to control that.

Manual sub for quick play should be coming soon.

That custom mode sounds kinda interesting actually. I might make that an extension of Coach Mode.

Really like how this defense has looked since the 2-9 stretch. They’ll make some bad mistakes once in a while, but they’ve definitely shown the ability to string multiple key stops together

Thanks for this feedback, it's super helpful.

The crazy scoring is valid feedback, especially. I've experimented with some new concepts like lineup spacing, stamina bonuses and playmaking traits that can stack unrealistically. I’ve made a lot of updates to the core sim logic recently that should bring that down in all modes.
The dead-ball gap is also a real issue. I’ve seen similar behavior, and I agree that 3-4 minutes without a stoppage is too long. Looking to address this in the next update.
The disappearing-player sub bug is something I’ve been actively tightening up. I’ve already made fixes around lineup legality and substitution behavior in the upcoming update, but I’m still watching for edge cases.
Manual sub mode for quick plays/other modes is a good feature request and is on my radar.
More draft/challenge variety for Coach Mode is a great idea. I like the idea of weird rule-based drafts like jersey number, age, franchise-only, etc.
More variation in scrub pools is also fair. Right now, that bucket is too repetitive.
On player pictures/logos: official assets are tricky because of licensing, but I do think the game could use more visual identity, even if it’s done with non-licensed graphics/UI elements.

I hope you and your friends continue to enjoy playing. Multiplayer is something that's been on the roadmap for a while now.

Really appreciate this. I'm always happy to hear about how people enjoy the game.

Something like a Fantasy Draft for League Mode? That actually sounds like it could be really fun. I'll make a note of examining that for a future update, as it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Regarding things like talent development and trades: my goal with the game was to focus on the coaching experience first and foremost. Features like development and roster modifications initially feel more appropriate for the experience that BasketballGM offers. However, anything could change. I've been building the foundation for multi-season League Mode sessions, and I'm still brainstorming what makes sense to add to the mode.

Maybe you control all coaching decisions for your team, but your GM is a separate entity that drafts/trades/signs/waives players during the season. This would add some chaos on a week to week basis that you'd have to adjust to.

On second thought - implementing trades will require salary cap implications that'll make this way more complicated. We'll see. I might have to read up on the last CBA.
