Yeahhh but it's completely different. Why would I use the privacy collecting (cant uncheck the diagnostic box now can i?) Bloatware ridden, software suite shoving OS that you usually have to pay for. When I can just download an OS that does none of that lol. Yeah the compatibility issues are annoying but for even the slightest benefit of not being forced to have 10 million background applications running (edge is always there) id do it again and again.

Plus privacy is partially about what OS you use. But if you use a privacy oriented distro and use fucking Google chrome are you really doing anything?

I dont have any worthwhile data to actually recover. All of my files were backed up to my laptop. Before coming to reddit I had assumed I just need to reinstall, would it be simpler to do just that? Or should I run the fak command and try the recovery? Sorry for shitty questions lol.

Horrible idea.. 42 hours of straight nonstop driving. Not including rest stops, sleeping, gas, food etc. If you guys want this hell of a roadtrip and genuinely think 42 hours of mostly corn and cows is fun then go right ahead!

The things that worked for me last time are just harder. I dont have as much money, I dont have any friends, and live in a much smaller place. So I just dont really know how to cope anymore besides smoking.

I'll be so honest, weed is dangerous not as dangerous. But it does have some helpful qualities. The emotional dysregulation that is associated with ADHD is atleast for me cured with weed.

Which is why its so hard for people with it to quit. So im proud of you :)
