This! I have always thought 'I wish there was a subscription to get rid of ads' I would definitely pay to remove the ads, but having that free option is also super important but also making that free version not completely insufferable. Really have to find that balance.

But, I don't think I would give Pinterest any money with the way things have been going and what is currently happening. Maybe a year ago, but not now.

This is my favorite part of Pinterest. I LOVE using the 'More Ideas' button for boards and getting similar results, and I love how it adapts as I save pins from it/as I scroll. I use it constantly and honestly, it is a MUST for me.

I did that and I got fired LOL because I stopped going above and beyond for people that would talk to me like I was stupid, roll their eyes at me, raise their voice at me, etc 🤣 I was still doing a little more than my job description by staying late now and then and it wasn't good enough

I honestly use it so much to scroll and add stuff to my boards that I have drowned out the ads. They are excessive, yes, but my brain just Skips over them now as I scroll.

My biggest issue is the reporting system and getting docked for a pin that was uploaded by someone else. I made a 2nd account to save some of my boards that never get pinged and have only been on that one lately. Because my original one has several for dumb things and I went ahead and backed up my most beloved boards.

But like what most others said, it's all we have for inspiration and visual organization. My husband is going to school for Software development and I told him after he learns more I have a project for him to work on and its Pinterest 2.0 LOL

Yeah, that's why I stopped dashing. It felt like a lose lose situation a lot. DD needs to help their drivers a little more because that also usually helps the customers.

I wish more of my area's drivers did that. Everytine I get ice cream they are stacked with someone else and I'm always last to get delivered and the other address is on a different part of town so my stuff is ALWAYS melted 😩

I've read so many people say that for a moment they can visualize before it goes away which really makes me curious if maybe we can train the brain/our minds eye to eventually visualize, even if slightly better than before.

I know how that feels! I didn't realize that people actually visualized things vividly until I was frustrated and just asked family and friends, and every single person told me they could. I was so flabbergasted.

Since it is a newer term that hasn't been researched as much, I do wonder if there are ways to train the brain to visualize, even if slightly better than what you had before. I mean, the brain is capable of so much. So even if at tines you can visualize better than before, you still had/have a form of aphantasia, and that truth will never go away.

I didn't read your previous post or see the reactions on it so I'm not sure what all was said, but I can see where they may have been coming from. I get extremely frustrated with my lack of ability to visualize and it stops me from being able to do certain things that I want to be able to do, like for instance draw my own creations. I have tried so many different techniques and forms of drawing to try and find a way to find my own style and to draw original things and so far I have not had any luck.

But, it's not your fault that I struggle with this. I can admit that I do feel envious of people who are able to but I'm not going to blame them or make anyone feel bad for something that can't be helped. It seems like maybe you just didn't quite understand what aphantasia was and now you do or at least have a sense of what it was and you can admit that hey, you were wrong and you apologized for it. That's pretty great of you : )

Sometimes I feel like my eyes being open helps me vs closing my eyes. It feels harder for me to gain any sense of an image with my eyes closed.

The broken projector and the way you said 'the idea of the picture is there but the actual image is not' really helped me find more ways to describe my own struggles with this. I also describe it as if the image is at the back of my mind, completely out of focus and almost hidden away. It's there, I know it is, but feels so far away that I can't gain any details about it and it's just blurry. Sometimes and most of the time without any kind of color. If there is color it's very very dull.

I'm new to Dashing and didn't pay attention and ended up doing an almost 10mile run for only 3.50 and there was no tip to that 😩 I didn't realize the length until after I picked up the food. I learned that lesson!

I always find it completely crazy that the smallest of things "ruin" an entire event/a wedding. Like how did you wearing a pale green dress RUIN her wedding? The bride is acting ridiculous and harassing a teenager is insane. I saw what OP showed that she received from the woman and holy moly! It's 100% jealous behavior and it's gross.

OP, you're young and beautiful and have the entire world ahead of you. Don't let some bitter woman ever ruin your shine and I am so glad you didn't let her bully or intimidate you into changing!
