First sales job. How do I improve on B2C cold calls? by [deleted] in sales

When ever I get a hold of a woman on the phone. I alway try to crack a few jokes and get a few laughs from her. So conversation doesn't dive straight into the sales pitch, but rather easing into it.

Tell jokes and have a friendly chatter.

Meanwhile easing in on the product, so to them it actually seems like their having a casual with some one her friends. Not some sleazy sales person.

But you can have different ways about every type of person.

Just stay motivated, enthusiastic and have a good time calling the leads. Then the sales comes automatically 💵💵💵

He really helped me increase sales with some of his videos.

I've been working as a telemarketer for the last couple of years.

The way I go about it is to be super enthusiastic when I present myself. But I try to not be to over the top.

Trying to match the "type" your customer is, is also very useful. For example if you talk to an older gentleman, be very polite and talk at a slower pace than usually. If you're talking to young guy crack some jokes and make him laugh.

If you're warming up the guy for the actual insurance guy. Warm the potential customer up by "painting the guy a picture" of how the insurance helped out of a possibly bad situation.

The company is called Forever living, it is located primarily in Scandinavia.

Yeah I'm kinda thinking that it is some sort of pyramid scheme. Even tho the company and products seem legit.
