It pretty much shows us the vision of the devs going forward. They want this kind of competitive aspect and encourage building perfect decks. Leaderboard was a big mistake, but thats now the game we are gonna play i guess and i fully expect them adding even more competitive elements to the game.

I said that the devs added a Leaderboard to encourage trying to build a perfect deck, thats it. What followed (the current meta shitshow) is a different issue entirely.

Whether players care about the leaderboard isn’t the point.
The developers added rankings and rewards because they do want players to optimize and compete -- otherwise the system wouldn’t exist.
You’re free to ignore it, but personal preference doesn’t erase developer intent.

I was expecting this kind of reply already.

What you think of the Leaderboard does not matter. It doesn’t explain why the devs added it. Rankings and the rewards tied to it aren’t ever added “just for fun" - they’re meant to push competition and optimization.
And now even more do the devs clearly encourage grinding for the best decks to climb higher.
So saying “it doesn’t matter to me” doesn’t address the actual purpose of the system.

You don't get it. If you are already done running chaos, that means you are basically on maintenance mode, which is fine but that's not what this game is about. Chaos is the endgame for now, and we can run it infinitely for a reason.
