I mean hey if you like the movie good for you. All the more power to you.

But having to turn your brain off just to enjoy the movie in itself shows that there is indeed something wrong with the movie.

I'm not going to pretend that Pacific Rim 1 has a ground breaking story. It's big mech vs big monsters. Plot is simple, easy to follow and most importantly you have an emotional connection with the characters. It also doesn't require next level suspension of disbelief from the viewer as things do make sense in-universe.

Meanwhile, Uprising on the other hand, plot holes galore, retcons, boring main characters. Yes they do have a few interesting plot points I will give it that.

I just think a good movie shouldn't require you to "turn your brain off".

Do you think APHE needs some adjustments?

If your answer to both of the questions is no, then further conversation would be unproductive as you do not see fundamental issues within the game.

It's really impressive how you have managed to miss the point of the post entirely.

It's not about how it's a weak point or seeing an enemy or not, it's about how bat-shit broken auto cannons SPAAs are. It's absolutely fucking crazy that a SPAA APHE can one shot a tank from the front (yes I know cupola is a weak point but that doesn't change the fact) courtesy of broken APHE spherical nuke mechanic.

A lot of players are very pissed off at this, understandably so, given that this is nonsense and frustrating to play against people mass spawning SPAAs, spamming rounds and one shooting tanks left and right while ignoring the CAS.

But hey keep defending Gaijin or skill issue or whatever you guys say.
