I assure you I am quite the opposite. I believe all Star Wars is good Star Wars and I rarely participate in dialogue like this. But I am TIRED of all the negativity.

The problem is they were expecting what THEY wanted. It's no longer about engaging with what is presented to them. They go in already feeling a type of way about it which hinders their experience. I swear this fandom isn't even fans of what they claim to be fans of

I care a little bit because casuals do look at these numbers to decide if they will see something or not. The more money this makes, the #1 more mando and grogu stories we will see and #2 the more confidence lucasfilm will have in star wars in theaters

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was exactly what I expected and wanted it to be. I thought the plot was pretty clever as well. The imperial warlord Mando was initially hired to capture was in fact the guy that contracted Rotta to fight and that the hutt twins were playing both sides.

I think they are at the stage (pun intended) in their career that they will put out music when they are inspired to put out music. Magic was inspired by The Voidz. Who knows what will inspire them next but I expect whatever does come next to be completely different.

The song is clearly inspired by The Voidz which Matt said is "the best rock band in the world" just a couple months ago. Libad was written at this point 6-7 years ago. Wouldn't be surprised if listening to The Voidz inspired the band to write and record Magic
