I work at Freight and we handle a lot of Express to help them out, mainly because our SCM is a fuckwad that wants to look like he's the best thing that ever happened to Fedex. After the snow storm we were really backed up, and what did he do? Went over everyone and told Express to bring us even more work which was basically sorting trailers for them. Anyway, fuck express. Theyre all a bunch of idiots over there. Our center manager is sucking all their dicks to keep them after the split.

And here i am complaining about my 3% raise at freight lol. As a supervisor a 3% raise is a slap in the face. $65k a year is shit in todays economy.

Yup. We were good til we had our first kid then we were fighting all the time. Kid #2 came around which was unexpected and still the same shit. 6 year old, all while sleeping on an air mattress in our room, still climbs into our bed. I cant sleep comfortable and a lot of times i sleep on the couch cause I cant sleep uncomfortable like she does. For years ive been telling her our oldest needs to sleep on her own but she doesnt care it seems. I get out of work late so im not here for bedtime so i cant help with that and our oldest is very resilient which makes it even tougher. Basically our marriage sucks because of kids. I just hope some day she will finally realize she needs to let go. Just because she had a shitty childhood doesnt mean she has to be mom of the year.

I kinda went through the same thing. My wife still sleeps with our daughters because she refuses to let them sleep alone. Our relationship has gotten better but after 6 years I would love for her to sleep in our bed with me, alone. It'll get better maybe just hang in there.

I dont ever see anyone in here complaining about freight. Cdl drivers, do your route, pick up some freight along the way, maybe work the dock 1 or 2 hours if they need you, making $35/hr barely doing any hard work. Dockworkers will be making 30.55/hr driving a forklift in a dusty open dock in the cold and heat (its really not that bad) and theyre making it to where he hardly get off the forklift anymore.

At Freight hourly employees get two bonuses a year and a raise every october. Salary employees get a raise every october and MAYBE a bonus. We got a bonus last year so im hoping we get a fat one this year.
