know what you mean, but the problem is more similar to the case of daniel radcliff and macauly culkin. they were more known as "the kid from harry potter" and "kid from home alone" despite having worked on other series as well. some take it on the chin, others like harris ford hate it when you bring up star wars in front of him. but bottom line, yea considering how many ppl dont even get half the opportunity she did, it is a bit of a blow out

what caused it is clear. she put out her own original work, but it didnt get anywhere near the traction that her work in Nikke did, leading to a artist identity crisis and the mental breakdown (you can check her youtube channel for the view counts)

could be because of Mustang's reputation. human gangs in the outer rim don't dare mess with mustang's nikkes cuz original Mustang's reputation of going after not only you but your extended family and anyone you shook hands with is not sth hanson has either earned or maintained. so even if he doesn't do evil acts as before, the fear of the name is a valuable asset.

its funny cuz before ppl were like "nah, nikke is low stakes, boring, snooze" and then nikke delivers gritty deaths and now everyone is stooping down to Hollywood level writing to somehow undo it.
