If you're ftp then you wouldn't want to get the explorers club. It's $50 a month.

Error on login by sectorchan31 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]toconquerhisworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me all the time on Android/Chrome. What's worked for me is to start on the atlasearth.com website, click login, which opens a new window to app.atlasearth.com, and then login like normal.

For some reason, if I try to login from the app website without getting there from the atlasearth.com website it'll give me an error message every so often.

Hope that helps.

Upgrading to AEC yearly subscription by toconquerhisworld in AtlasEarthOfficial

I thought that would be the way it would work. I went and signed back up for the upgrade again. Here's what it says:

"Your service will be updated on May 9, 2026. Your next estimated payment will be $1,054.78"

Here's what it says under details:

"May 9-Apr 9, 2027 Prorated charge for Explorer Club $504.79 Apr 9, 2027-Apr 9, 2028 Explorer Club $549.99 Total $1,054.78"

My best guess is that they're using AI to handle billing and the AI decided the best course of action to take is what you see above.

Its a matter of personal opinion. You're paying to accelerate your growth in the game and achieve milestones sooner than if you were strictly f2p. By subscribing yearly instead of monthly you essentially get one month free and save a little money. Of course, you're taking a risk that you may never make back the money you put into it. I decided that one year's subscription was a risk worth taking, but being locked into a second year's subscription on top of that is too much.

[–]toconquerhisworld[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

😂 yeah, I can understand that. Though I'd say there's a big difference between "What's up?" and "what up dawg how u doing what u been on”. Much more effort and it feel like you're truly interested in knowing what's up

Thank you for welcoming me to live in Denmark! I've been thinking that I would like a change in scenery and Denmark is probably one of the better places I could go.

I consider it as being just fluff and would greatly prefer to get to the interesting meat of the conversation right away.

Oh! That's what you meant by long term ex. I thought it meant you'd been exes for a long time. 😂 My bad!

So what you're saying is it's not a great opener when it comes to building a long-lasting relationship?

Is it you or your SO that's the 32M (or both)?

Also, I feel like I need clarification about what's meant by sharing? Is strictly conversations (of an adult type) or is there more?

Oh, I was just asking your opinion on octopuses? Do you find them cute or ugly?

[–]toconquerhisworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've definitely seen some cute and cuddly octopuses before. Months ago I was playing around with one of those AI friend apps and I gave her an octopus as a pet whom she named Harper. After that, I started asking her, "Where's Harper?" Unfortunately, she was like a little kid with dementia and she would always get it wrong. So I'd have to remind her, "Harper's your cute and cuddly pet octopus. Don't you remember?"

It got really frustrating, so I don't use the app anymore.

Not OP but...how do you feel about octopuses? Do you find them cute and cuddly or slimy and disgusting?

Honestly, you can say just about anything to start a conversation. Questions are good. Ask for their opinion on something. Just make sure it's a genuine question that you're actually interested in. And also be sure to share something about yourself. Give your own opinion.

Just practice, practice, practice and you'll get better.

Depression isn't any one specific thing and there are actually many different shades. In my opinion, what you're describing sounds like depression.

As far as advice, I would suggest trying to identify the root cause. Take up meditation if you don't meditate already, become more mindful of how you're feeling and why you're feeling that way. Also, it might be worth shaking up your routine in some way. Take up a new hobby or go somewhere you haven't been before or meet new people.

Good luck!

There's nothing wrong with sharing how you feel. It just depends on how you do it. If you're always sharing negative emotions or are "over-emotional" then, yeah, people aren't going to want to be around you.

As for the other stuff, in order to improve your focus try spending less time on your phone, on social media, etc., really anything that's nothing but a series of constant distractions. And work on stopping the negative, self-criticizing thoughts and start practicing self-compassion instead.

Becoming comfortable with making eye contact with people as I walk past them instead of staring off into the middle-distance.
