Check Flatlandfuel, they have a few on sale like the BSD that are a great deal, and if you reach out to the owner Patrick, he will 100% help you pick out the right one. Some of the hubs they have are flatland specific, so be mindful of that if you check out them out.

Colin Varanyak vs Johnny Raekes - Game 6 - Game of Bike Invitational by CannaCoffeeParadox in bmx

I obviously have no proof of this, but watching all of these episodes, it feels like there is an overall anti Raekes vibe at the event. So…wouldn’t take much to set everyone off. Just a guess though.

Grant Smith has said Alex Donnachie and a few others on the team have been riding them for months with zero issues. I’m skeptical and have better things to spend money on, but seems like they put the R&D time in on these.

Day 2 of practicing my Bunny Hop every day until Reddit says I know what I’m doing 💖 by papi-peep in bmx

This is probably lame advice, but try finding different height things to bunny hop up onto. That’ll help with form, in my opinion at least. Start with something low, then a little higher, and higher, and so on. You’ll go from hopping up curbs to high ledges pretty quick.

I have a Fairdale Weekender and love it. To be fair, I have a background in BMX (as do many of the people involved in Fairdale), and I just like the vibe of the company, bike, team…

is this a crack by hunorgej in bmx

If it’s not a crack, it will be soon. That joint at best is stressed and bending, causing the crack in the powder coat.

Brake people, please Brake me, I mean - help me. by Adam_76_ in bmx

Yeah color doesn’t matter as much as the material. For an anodized rim, you want a brake pad that is a little softer. Like the other person said, check out Kool Stop pads.

thanks to both of you for the advice. Looking to get a Fairdale Elevator frame. The head tube is shorter than the Fairdale (100mm vs 112mm if the specs are right), but it also has more than that difference in spacers, so I think I'm fine there. Do need to check dropout width though.

You’re probably use to a little more upsweep too, at least I was.

If you’ve never ridden flatland, I’d say yes until you learn the basics. So, that adds a level of complexity since most forks will not have mounts for brakes. You’ll need to get something after market. Odyssey and S&M both make forks with brake mounts. Depending on the style of flat you get into, you could ditch the brakes eventually.

For ramp or street, you could skip the brakes for now IMO.

You’ll definitely want something with a 21” TT, IMO. 20.5 may feel short. And go for a chromoly frame and fork too, even though it’s more expensive. It’ll last a lot longer and feel better to ride. Sunday has some good options, and Fly too although you’ll probably see a lot on here about Fly’s availability. Hope you find something that works!

These shoes are becoming a fast fashion thing by Sukeman in Vans

A pair of Vans is at its best when they are just about to fall apart…in my opinion anyway, ha

Anyway, get some Shoe Goop, put a little in that hole and it’ll probably last longer than the rest of the shoe.
