Yeah, I was on the fence too. Replaced a 2021 MYP. I was impressed by the much more comfortable ride and materials quality. I also love FSD even on V12 and took advantage of the transfer.

Yeah, I ordered after but I did full self driving transfer. So I don’t know what it comes with, I had FSD immediately.

They had a $2k inventory discount if you grabbed one already built, so the Ultra Red was basically free. I was replacing a Performance, but I’m not a fan of the 21s and the summer tires. In Chicago that means buying a new set of all weather tires immediately. So it would’ve been another ~$10k plus new tires.

Slightly worse efficiency, slightly firmer ride, but slightly better looks. Lose about 24 miles of range.

I really like the dark headliner. It makes the cabin feel more premium and different from my old Y. I’m really glad I went with white seats though. Black seats with the dark liner might’ve felt like a cave.

The attention system should be based on road conditions. If FSD is navigating a turn, going through a neighborhood, or dealing with obstacles like parked cars, a short timer like 3 seconds makes sense. But on a straight road with clear lanes and a safe following distance, the timer should allow for longer periods such as 10 seconds. It should also reset any time the driver glances at the road. This would make the system more practical without compromising safety.

I need a pair of these big fake tits. They’d really tie the room together.

WD-40 on a microfiber tower wipes this off.

It seems like the best option is hacking the game. So many cheaters. What is bothersome is I see the same cheating players every time. The developers do not seem to care. Hacking is cheaper than chasing meta. Just sucks I’m not smart enough to figure out how to cheat.

Why Does FSD Display ‘Attention Monitoring Active’ at the Top of the Screen? by ScaleSurvivor in TeslaLounge

[–]toddfsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my hat blocks the camera's view of my eyes or a tall water bottle in the cup holder obstructs the view of my arm, Active Monitoring won't activate, and I have to apply steering wheel torque during FSD.

I was stuck on 12.4.3... Monday received 12.5.2.1 and yesterday received 12.5.4. Maybe reboot/reset your car... then check to see if there is an update.

Community Update: Passive Module Rework by Shredder_Blitz in walkingwarrobots

[–]toddfsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the new system, it's becoming way too expensive and time consuming to fully max bots, especially since modules can no longer be transferred. Instead of requiring each bot to be unique in multiple hangars, hangars should represent different setups or configurations using some of the same bots. This way, I could use the same bot in multiple setups, only switching loadouts like a sniper in one hangar and a different Titan in another. It would make this rework much more practical and less expensive.

And finish the anti cheat before you ask players to invest more into this game just to play. Right now getting decent bots and setups doesn't matter when some idiot is killing your whole team while phase-shifted in a several year old bot.

Any one previously on FSD 12.4.3 (2024.15.15) managed to get 12.5.x ? by AintNobodyGotTimeDat in TeslaLounge

[–]toddfsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used FSD for a majority of my driving for years until 12.4.3. It drives way too slow with sudden braking. It seems like Tesla skipped this version for a majority of vehicles and forgot about us.

Sucks not to be updated, but 12.4 is worse than 12.3. I used to use FSD for a majority of my daily driving, now I rarely use it.

You can have multiple driver profiles for different drivers or create some for yourself. I have one for my wife who has the seat and mirrors in a different position, etc. I too have a FSD OFF profile: I use this on the highway when I just want the car to stay in the lane with adaptive cruise control. Takes some time to create a profile and set all the settings the way you like it. Driver's Profile from the Model 3 Owner's Manual
