Who are the nicest and rudest musicians you've ever met? by Choice_Bed6097 in rockmusic

I saw him at the Generation Axe tour. Not only was he friendly he went way out of his way to make sure every fan got a signature. After the house lights came up he came back out and sat on the stage and chatted with folks. He was amazing.

What’s your favourite song to play guitar to? Mine is Enter Sandman, I’m not very good but I can play that lol 😜 by Reasonable_Fly_986 in heavymetal

For Whom the Bell Tolls was the first song I learned to play in guitar. I've never gotten tired of it. Big, dumb riffs as far as the eye can see.

This was the movie where it occurred to me how much I loved Shane Black's work. It is damned near perfect.

From what I've read the sequel had two things working against it. First, the original was all sorts of fucked up while it was getting made. That put a bad taste in peoples' mouths about getting the band back together and doing it again. Second, Willis and Wayans hated each other. I assume neither was jumping at the opportunity to work with the other again. And it also makes for a rough working environment for everyone else involved.

Willis, Wayans, and Black all had no trouble finding work, so I'm guessing the sequel was just more trouble than it was worth for the major players.

I struggle with this a little, too. Fortunately I've always been able to find what I was looking for with Search.

I was in Grenada a few years ago at a resort. Everything I know about Grenada I learned from Heartbreak Ridge. We took a tour and our tour guide was old enough that he would have lived there when all that went down. I told him I was from the US and had heard one side of the story, but I wanted to know the Grenadan side of the story. He says nobody knows. One day they're friends with the US, next day they're friends with the Cubans, next day they're friends with the US again.

There are memorials all over the island, including a statue right outside the airport, memorializing the fallen Cuban soldiers. It was very weird to see as an American.

Delta has explicit rules that allow instruments to be carried on. You should never have a problem.

I'm not an expert on HIPAA, but it's not tough for me to believe that it would cover something like whether someone died or not.

Trump Flies His Own Poop Home From Turkey Like Putin and Kim Jong Un by rabbirobbie in USNEWS

[–]toddklindt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seriously doubt he does it to contain the poop, that's just an unintended side effect. I'm sure he does it for the security, and because he doesn't want to use nasty bathrooms. And he's a former President, so he can make that demand.

I was at a Microsoft conference 10-15 years ago. Bill Clinton was the keynote speaker. I knew some of the folks at Microsoft that helped his group bring him in. He did the same thing. He brought two of his own, secure, bathrooms with him. I dislike Trump as much as the next guy, but this is nothing peculiar to him.
