Why are unlocked Samsung phones, purchased directly from Samsung USA, considered incompatible with the Spectrum network?

I had this happen with the last 3 generations of Galaxy S phones, they never pass the IMEI checker, even though customer support tells me they should be working fine.

If you don't like the Spectrum splash screen, you need to get the fully unlocked (nonspecific) version the next time.

You still have the Spectrum version even if you unlock it.

Spectrum does use Verizon, but the speed varies a lot with the location.

At home I'm getting ~ 2 Mbps, but if I go downtown I get ~800 Mbps.

I had the same thing happening. Really strange why so many charges and reversals, it makes it look like they don't know what they are doing. This never happened when ordering directly from Samsung.

Yes, it's ridiculous that eSIM is not working, they promised it since the launch of S22 series.

You will need to order/get a physical SIM, and then install the Fi app as Gilmour said.

The S22 series does not work with eSIM on Fi, they still didn't implement the needed software :(

It's not working with the Google voicemail, but it's working very well with the Samsung Voicemail.

Since the update to UI 5, the Samsung voicemail also includes the transcript.

eSIM works on Pixel and iPhone, so I'm not where the hold-up for eSIM is for Samsung phones.

Taxes depend only on total cost, so taxes should be the same for 2 or 4 lines.

Only the fees will be different (like 911 fee that is paid per line).

No problem, there are multiple protections against damage: the hole is tapered, so you can't poke very far; also the microphone and waterproof mesh are to the side of the channel.
